Hiya!! Welcome to Craftster!!:D I love your bags! Although I like all of them, I love the fabric you used for the "watercolor" one!

Thanks you guys! Grin

teryllynn1: Yes, it was really easy! I did take a shortcut though. I sewed the ends of it, but I used velcro to make the individual pockets. I just did not want to handsew all those pockets! LOL!

Lesa25: Yeah, I guess I was absent the day they taught measuring! Even if I use a ruler, I still end up eyeballing the measurements!

I haven't posted in a while. I'd like to say I've been crafting the entire time, but sadly, I haven't. Anyway I recently found some threads for a "purseket"-like purse organizer. Since I'm always changing purses, I thought this would be a good thing for me to have. So I made one. Even though I didn't measure anything (other than just "eye-balling" it) and the pockets are a little short in the front, I'm really proud of it. Let me know what you think!!

Thanks to these threads for the inspiration:

It looks great...and way to have the courage to post your first atempt. I'm completely intimidated and inspired by everyone's amazing work on these boards!

Thank you, lots!! Cheesy It did take a lot of courage. I was so scared someone would be like mean and discouraging, but that's the thing about craftster, almost everyone's nice and encouraging. And instead of flinging insults, they impart advice and share knowledge. This board is the awesomeness!! (P.S. I'm not retarded; I just made up that saying! Grin)

Hello, all!!

This isn't a craft, but I thought they were really awesome! Have any of you seen/heard about/talked about these? http://www.colorwarepc.com/content.aspx?id=19

I would love one (but I'm kinda thinking I would get tired of the color) but I can't see spending over $1500 for one. I searched on craftster and I found one thread where someone had turned their iBook pink and it was really cute. Has anyone else done this or know how to do this? How hard is it? Does it involve taking a lot of things apart?

Thanks in advance for your feedback!

Naw...wish I did though...The pile of stuff has gotten high over the years, but I just end up giving it as gifts...I'm not so sure I'd be able to sell anything....

I'm sure you could! Wink

I love your work! Grin I'm thinking of getting into beading/jewelry making. I especially want to make bracelets and necklaces. Any advice or tips for a beginning jewelry maker? any special supplies or tools I'll want to get right away?
8  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Beads: Completed Projects / Re: zimmermann beads UPDATE: i made them! so EASY! + mini tute (pic heavy) on: October 04, 2005 01:52:37 PM
I remember those!! My mom had some and I used to play with them when I was little. I agree with earlier posters that the ones from the '80s weren't all that cute, mainly because of the chosen fabrics. I don't remember seeing any with beads on the outside though, so you're being original on that part. I actually like them Grin If you have a cool fabric and cool beads, it's awesome, at least in my opinion anyway! Great job and thanks for the tute! I think I'll make some for old time's sake. Hmmmm... Wink
