1  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / Rainbow Butie Monster on: January 27, 2013 11:48:49 PM

Made this little guy the first time about 4 years ago, but forgot to write down the pattern, but I really wanted to remake it so I did!
Some of the colors I originally used were discontinued, so I had to improvise, but Simply Soft still has lots of great colors.
Side note: Buying yarn in an actual store is sooo impossible nowadays. I feel old. I miss yarn stores.
2  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Rainbow Ripple Baby Blanket on: April 26, 2012 01:55:33 PM
I'm having a baby in June and I'm in full-on baby stuff making mode. It's a girl, so I am excited to make lots of colorful fun stuff for her!
I made her this baby blanket with Caron Simply Soft Brites (one of my fav yarns)

3  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / Dragon for my Baby on: April 26, 2012 01:49:32 PM
So, I'm due in early June with a little girl, we're naming her Lucy (we are already calling her Lulu). She's a "year of the dragon" baby, so I decided I would make her a special snuggly doll just for her.
I made my first bear ever for my son almost 7 years ago and I was so excited to have another baby to make stuff for, and a girl at that!
I used Caron Simply Soft Brites. Smiley

4  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / Rainbow Unicorn on: September 27, 2011 10:28:07 AM

I got the hankering to try a unicorn! I made the mane in separate pieces and all in Caron Simply Soft Brites! Love rainbow colors!
5  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / Candy Corn and Candied Apple on: September 19, 2011 11:14:00 PM

I made them because I am currently obsessed with Candy Corn! I really had fun and actually made two drafts of this before figuring out the right technique to give it the shape I wanted.
What's fun is that something so simple could teach me so much!
I used Caron Simply Soft brites!
6  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / Trick or Treaters! on: September 14, 2011 10:30:29 AM

These guys worked up so fast! I did one a night for three nights, done! Love quick projects!
7  California / California: South / Indie Los Angeles? on: August 09, 2011 07:19:06 PM
Hi all! Tamie Snow from Roxycraft.com.

I have recently relocated back to the LA area (SGV to be exact) from the Sacramento area.
When I lived there, I belonged to a crafty biz networking group and I am interested in starting/joining one here!

We could have monthly meetings, organize craft shows, cross-promote each other!

If you're interested, let me know!
8  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / "Cute" on: August 08, 2011 11:21:24 PM
My son loves this old ami that I am guessing was my 2nd or 3rd attempt ever. He calls it "Cute" and sleeps with it every night.
Recently, he's been asking me to make him another "Cute" and he even drew up plans for it with crayons.
It was fun to recreate it and it made me want to start designing again, and that's a good thing after a 2 year break!

the og

I made a pattern for it, it's free on my site, if you're interested. I just wanted to share and say hi! It's been awhile since I've posted here, I missed it!
9  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / Tough Love on: May 06, 2009 02:44:17 PM

Someone said it's TMNT meets Hello Kitty...I love that!
10  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / Buties! on: September 30, 2008 01:34:58 PM

The hub says they look like little butts...LOL! Hence the name Buties.
