6737  Ohio / Ohio: Northeast / Folks in the Canton/Akron/Cleveland and Surrounding Areas? on: June 29, 2006 08:37:44 AM
I'm from the Canton area and I was wondering if there are other crafty folks in the Canton/Akron/Cleveland and Surrounding Areas that would like to participate in a sweat shop type or sampler type swap.

Here's what I had in mind:

* Craft x number of items (x depends on the number of participants)
* Meet up for lunch (or tea, or dinner, or drinks), and exchange your crafted items with everyone in the group

I just thought it'll be cool to meet all the talented crafters in this area.  Any takers?
6738  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / New Swap Theme Ideas / Re: Boy-Girl swap? on: June 28, 2006 02:09:05 PM
This sounds interesting.  Will there be certain boundaries on how the swap goes?  For example, are girls expected to make something "masculine" for their guy partners and vice versa, or is it pretty much whatever your partner requests (sort of like the ongoing wish list type swap)?
