41  Re: Photo bag with Homemade Bubble Jet Set TUTORIAL !!! in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by suganspyyce on: October 28, 2006 11:08:31 PM
Here is a picture of what i found at hobby lobby.  It sells for 3.99.  The box contains enough ash to make two 1 gallon batches and gloves.  I also found the site earlier about the pool stores having it.  One thing i wanted to add was that it said to make sure that they dont try to sell you sodium bicarbonate.

42  Re: Show us your Photoshop and PSP art!!! in More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works by suganspyyce on: October 27, 2006 02:34:02 PM
In the spirit of Halloween, i have vectorized a pumpkin.  I didn't use photoshop, I used Photo Impact Pro which does a lot of the things photoshop does and it only cost 100.  This is my first time vectorizing a photo, so i still have a long way to go.

45  Re: Let's see your sewing machine!! in Sewing Machines: Discussion and Questions by suganspyyce on: September 27, 2006 03:14:30 PM
Here are a few more pics of the older machine.  It is a Brother Valiant 930 from 1969.  It works great and the foot pedal is in the cabinet so that you can operate it with your knee.  The only thing is that part of the throat plate is missing where the feed dogs are.  I dont know what the controls mean and have searched on the internet and the brother website for any information and have came up with nothing.

Hope all the pics i have posted doesn't slow anyone down.

I wanted to join in and share my machines with everyone.  Mine are all brothers.

This is the one that started it all.  I got it at a salvation army sidewalk sale for 5 bucks.

This one i got for christmas last year.

This one, my fav of all, I bought at Wal-Mart a few months after the one I got for Christmas.

And finally, this one I got at a yard sale for 2 dollars.  It came with the table.  I haven't the slightest idea about it but it has as stamp on the underside of the table with a 1969 date on it.  I haven't been able to find out any information on it.  Any ideas?

47  Ladybug quilt in Quilting: Completed Projects by suganspyyce on: July 14, 2006 12:44:58 PM
This is a quilt I have been working off and on for a few months.  I finally decided to just finish the thing.  It's a machine stitched biscuit quilt.  All that is left to do is the tying.

Here is a close-up of the fabric, the red squares are polka dots

Hope you guys like it.

48  My reproduction of the Sak purse in Crochet: Completed Projects by suganspyyce on: June 18, 2006 11:29:27 AM
I know I am late to this but I wanted to see what I could come up with.  This purse is just like the Fendi Purse but it is crocheted.  You can find a picture of the real thing here:  http://www.thesak.com/product-exec/last_cat/4765/product_id/724

Here is my version:

If I were to make this purse again I would find a matching yarn in a smaller weight so that the ruffles weren't so stiff and ruffly.  Hope you guys like it!!!  Feedback welcome!!!

49  Lime, blue and orange tied quilt in Quilting: Completed Projects by suganspyyce on: April 07, 2006 02:03:19 PM
Newly finished quilt for my daughters first bed.  I got the pattern from quick colorful quilts.
Found here:  http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/1561483729/sr=8-2/qid=1144442222/ref=pd_bbs_2/104-7113812-5531140?%5Fencoding=UTF8
This book has pretty cool simple, mostly hand quilted with big stitches quilts.  Hope you guys like!

P.S. Please excuse the mess in the background. Wink
