1  KNITTING / Knitalongs / Endpaper Mitts Knitalong on: January 27, 2010 01:17:12 PM
Endpaper mitts have been around for a while, and I have finally got the courage to try them out! I am currently making a swatch. This will be my first color work project. I am hoping to find others who would like to knit these so that we can help each other along Smiley

I LOVE these- here is the pattern http://www.eunnyjang.com/knit/2006/11/endpaper_mitts.html
2  KNITTING / Knitalongs / Knitty's Carpathia KAL? on: November 08, 2007 03:01:12 PM
Okay, I want to knit these for a Christmas present.

The problem is, I am already confused about the going back and forth at the cuff part. I need some people to knit these awesome gloves with me! I couldn't find any finished ones online....WEIRD. Let me know if we can help each other out and knit a whole bunch of these babies!
3  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Discussion and Questions / Never made jewelry before - how do I do this? on: May 13, 2007 12:25:01 PM
I bought a string of turquoise for VERY cheap while I was in Turkey. I have been lookinh for a turquoise necklace forever, but they are expensive. I would like to simply put these beads on a necklace. 1 string, a simple clasp. I have never entered this realm of crafting before. Can you just tell me what exactly I need to buy, and do? Thanks!
4  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / Razor cami help please!! on: August 04, 2006 12:02:36 PM
Okay I have knit the razor cami to about 16". I'm at the part where you divide the armpit, and I am totally confused. I tried to do it, but then it seemed like I was knitting backwards and it was messed up. Could someone who has knit this just explain this part to me in more detail? Or even with pictures??  Thanks!
5  IMAGE REPRODUCTION TECHNIQUES / Screen Printing: Completed Projects / Cheap silk screening, first attempt, gone wrong. Poor Oscar Wilde. on: August 03, 2006 12:17:53 PM
Wow. I was so pumped to try the cheap screen printing http://community.livejournal.com/craftgrrl/3674467.html, because I'm on a budget. But it just went wrong. These photos are AFTER I touched the paint up by hand. Excuse the quality, they were taken on my phone. I was going to put words on the shirt also. Maybe I will just try it again...touch up the creen, I dunno. There was no enough paint in some areas when I lifted the screen. Any tips?

6  UNITED STATES / Michigan / Wayne State knitters? on: July 29, 2006 05:12:31 PM

7  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Red Temptress Moulin Rouge Prom Dress on: June 16, 2006 07:48:30 AM
Here is the prom dress I made! It was sorta inspired by the Red Temptress gown from Moulin Rouge. I'm very proud of this because I haven't had much experience sewing. This dress also got me a job offer for the fall! Working part time for the costuming department of Detroit Opera House!
It was raining prom night so I only got a pic with my date. but I put the dress on a few days later and took some pictures.
