1  Re: Make a Purse & Fill It Swap (Round 6) Gallery in The Swap Gallery by myclouds on: March 05, 2011 09:11:22 AM
This is the bag that I made for IsikkahJai. I am not sure if she will be able to post pictures because she has limited internet access. This is Amy Butler's reversible tote. It looked a lot smaller in the pictures on the pattern!

2  Received! in The Swap Gallery by myclouds on: March 03, 2011 07:25:32 AM
Wow, I received a wonderful bag from my partner IsikkahJai! I was thinking about making this bag for her, but I chickened out!! Sad   I can't believe this is her first bag! It is great! It is Amy Butler's Cosmo bag. The pockets inside are awesome.

She filled it with all kinds of useful stuff too! I will have to share the Reese's for sure...

I am very happy with this swap Smiley My partner should have received yesterday but has had limited internet access. Hope she posts soon too!

3  Received! Great package from cuppiecakes83! in The Swap Gallery by myclouds on: June 13, 2009 10:13:22 PM
I got an awesome package from cuppiecakes83. She really looked at my wists and such, gave me things I forgot I even wanted!

She did my first name (Ann), my middle initial (M) and my last name initial (E).

A is for ATCs

These are cool, but I am not totally sure what they are. I love travel though!

N is for Necklace Pendant from my wists

N is for Noodle Pouch (Ramen that is!)

I always wanted one of these but never wanted to spend the time figuring out how to make one.

Thanks cuppiecakes83!

M is for Mug

Cool chemistry/caffeine mug!

E is for Extra Camera Cozy

I was just thinking how I need one of these! But I've been too lazy to make one for myself...

My wonderful angel FlashlyAshley sent me this great soap making kit! Also, since she couldn't get the colorant in time, she sent me embroidery supplies! Woot! Thanks a lot!

5  Re: Razor cami help please!! in Knitting: Discussion and Questions by myclouds on: August 04, 2006 01:41:59 PM
it's been a while since I made mine, but basically, all you're doing is putting the stitches for the back of the top on a holder (or scrap yarn or whatever), and continuing to work the front section up higher.  I was also confused about what the divide section would look like -- basically the front section is a few inches higher than the back section -- somehow it works out ok.  see if you can see what I mean in the photo of mine below. (you can sort of see that the ribbing at the top of the back portion just ends under my armpit.)

what I am confused about is continuing the front. Because there will be a wrong side now, how do I knit that? I got confused when in came to psso. I switched the knits to purls for the wrong side. Then when I did the psso (which was wrong) the slipped stitch was going in the opposite direction.

6  Cheap silk screening, first attempt, gone wrong. Poor Oscar Wilde. in Screen Printing: Completed Projects by myclouds on: August 03, 2006 12:17:53 PM
Wow. I was so pumped to try the cheap screen printing http://community.livejournal.com/craftgrrl/3674467.html, because I'm on a budget. But it just went wrong. These photos are AFTER I touched the paint up by hand. Excuse the quality, they were taken on my phone. I was going to put words on the shirt also. Maybe I will just try it again...touch up the creen, I dunno. There was no enough paint in some areas when I lifted the screen. Any tips?

7  Red Temptress Moulin Rouge Prom Dress in Clothing: Completed Projects: General by myclouds on: June 16, 2006 07:48:30 AM
Here is the prom dress I made! It was sorta inspired by the Red Temptress gown from Moulin Rouge. I'm very proud of this because I haven't had much experience sewing. This dress also got me a job offer for the fall! Working part time for the costuming department of Detroit Opera House!
It was raining prom night so I only got a pic with my date. but I put the dress on a few days later and took some pictures.
