i am also having trouble with this pattern, no matter how many times I start it, it keeps twisting. I have searched the net but I still think this pattern is the nicest by far. Have you checked the posts in the HH section? Maybe someone can answer your Huh's about the stitch count.  Good Luck!!!

7  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Re: Caron's Simply Shawl on: February 19, 2006 06:10:22 AM
I just got the pattern from Caron........it only took a couple of days by snail mail, they were nice enough to include a pattern for a scarf and a ponchini. I would love to make this shawl in a light weight yarn for those cool spring nights.  Does anyone have any suggestions on what yarn I should use? I cant wait to get started!!!

The wristbag has a short handle and a long handle, you put the long handle through the short one, hook on wrist and Enjoy! I really hate sewing, so I am looking for crocheted embellishment  designs.

I have been making AJ's wristbags to give as gifts.  Its a quick and easy project http://www.crochetville.org/forum/showthread.php?t=6510&highlight=wristbag  But I would like to crochet something different on each one instead of a flower .  I have tried searching under "crochet embellishment" but I cant find anything.  Can anyone help me out?  I would appreciate any ideas!  Thanks everone!!
