1  hopeless romantic in CHALLENGE 6 ENTRIES by themonalisa on: October 10, 2005 01:59:56 PM
this was kind of inspired by austin scarlett's cornhusk dress from project runway. i just used strips of tape to make a sort of ribbon of rose petals and attatched them as the skirt for my faceless rose girl. the rest is just magazine clippings and some dried roses i had saved.

here's a close-up of the skirt

2  marley card in Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: General by themonalisa on: October 04, 2005 09:53:12 AM
here are a few cards i made. i made the marley one for my friend and the other is for my mom. the one for my mom i kind of hurried because she's been bugging me to send her this song but i hate just throwing stuff in the mail all tragic looking so i figured this would be better than just getting a plain cd alone.

5  look at the shirt mommy made me! in Clothing for Kids: Completed Projects by themonalisa on: August 17, 2005 10:35:05 AM
i made this shirt using an old t-shirt that didn't fit my husband anymore. it's really simple, but it is the first thing i ever sewed.
