o yea, and i dont know about ur local YMCAs but i think at all of them, they have a special teen area, with 'teen' setting, games, music, etc. they have parties for everybody on like fridays, but u could rent it, and if u upgrade the package, all ur friends can swim n use the courts too! that would b fun Grin Grin Cheesy

if theres ne places n ur area that do wedding receptions, they normally have alot of -more-low-key party options, u could do that, n just have food, n dancing for everyone

or if ne of ur family or friends have a big basement, u could just do it there, my friend did that at my house, it was soo fun, n it didnt cost her ne thing to rent the place, lol

~dont forget ghost stories!!!
~dry ice is the best for halloween, put it n a caldron, so it looks like it smokeing! n we added a glow stick, which looked awsome!!
~play the munster mash! that song rocks, lol
~have friends or family willing to help out, hide n bushes, or dress up n scary costumes, to jump out at ppl, ha
~lots of orange and black streamers and balloons
~u can make hands for the punch bowl, by filling a new, non powdered glove with the juice, tie, and stick in the freezer up-rite till the party
~give away glow things (bracletes, necklaces, mouth plates, etc.) when ppl arrive, so they can dance n style
~go to a corn field maze, if they have ne around there (or if ur reel brave, just go to a cornfield, n try to find ur way around)
~use barrels of hay for ppl to sit on when they munch on trick-or-treat-style candy
~corn stalks r sold at flower shops around halloween, put some n the front of ur yard to signal ppl n to the party
~black and orange string lights would b cool for the trees, for a dance party outside
~make ghosts out of sheets, use a plastic hanger to give it a shape and look more 'reel'
~ along with the graveyard idea, make tombstones for all ur guests, with their name on it, n the parties date for the 'death date', let em take em home at the end of the party
~carpool everyone to a haunted house, those r a total blast!!
~serve ur dips for chips/fruit/veggies n a cleaned out pumpkin, just scrap out the middle, like u were gunna carve it, then wash out, just do it the day of the party, so it doesnt rot
~ tint everything u can, black or orange, like the dip u just put n the pumpkin! lol
~popcorn balls r tasty, serve em up with the other food
~lots of candy corn is good!
~use google to find other fun halloween ideas!!

everyone is reeeeely rite bout the scavenger hunts, but its no big deal to just not have one, theres plenty more u could do for fun-

with the hotel idea-
~check to c if any of the hotels have game rooms, exercise rooms, or ne thing else. when i had my party there, we hung out n the fitness room for a while, just screwin around on the bikes n stuff, cuz it was open all nite, and away from alot of the other hotel rooms (so it was quieter for all those ppl)
~since ur savin now, u should get room service, even if its only drinks or sumthin, its just fun to have the guy come up to the room and bring ya sumthin
~truth or dare is especially fun at a hotel, cuz u can prank call like a bowling alley or w/e, n its not ur home # that they r gunna call back to and complain
~dare someone to call the front desk and ask for 25 tampons, or the ultra absorbent pads ha, or ask ppl comin into the hotel if they wanna race or if dance n the lobby with u
~when i had a hotel party, we had 3 rooms (i saved for a long time, but u could just get 2 rooms, and not sleep over there, so ur parents wouldnt need one) 2 of the rooms were adjoined, these were for me n my friends... we played a sort of 'hotel battle', with 1 team n each room
we snuck into eachothers rooms we they were away and put ice n shoes and n the bed, had water guns fights, 'snow' ball fights (white panty hoses filled with flour, then tyed, 1 panty hoe makes about 10 balls, when u throw it, flour goes every where!!), silly string, tag, pillow fights, everything... it was sooo fun, everyone dressed n their team color and had a blast, we left the door open, so when we slept the rooms were connected n we could all chat... when we left, we gave the cleaning crew a big tip 9since we made such a mess)  GOOD LUCK AND HAPPY EARLY BIRTHDAY!!

558  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Party Planning / Re: HOLLYWOOD PARTY< PLEASE POST NE IDEAS U HAVE!!! on: August 02, 2005 10:30:54 PM
Thankz CitrusWarfare, I luv the idea of givin away awards to ppl, maybe the most funny, best dressed, cutest, etc. that would b fun

and i was thinkin taht i could combine everyone's ideas for the bathroom, w/ all teh stuff n a typical stars dressing room, clothes, radio, makeup, scripts, etc.

and i do have an extra room that we could do the photo shoot n and my grandma just got a new digital camera and printer doc, perfect idea!!

i was thinkin we could drink sparkling cider or sum 'fancy' drink n cute champagne glasses, so that idea will def. b used!!! my party is gunna b soo sweet!! thankz everybody and if any body has any more ideas, keep em comin, i'll use!!
