I recieved 6 lbs. of roving from Sheep Shed Studio last weekend, and I began my first endeavor into spinning!  Here are my first skeins, made with Carol's special thank-you grab bag...

Then I started to really get the knack of it, and I moved on to some brown toned mill ends with my drop spindle

and after!

spinning is a truly rewarding experience.

9  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / quick dress to use extra fabric. (from bubble skirt!) on: July 05, 2007 05:44:01 PM
it was an atttempt at the urban outfitters knockoff someone posted. i liked the neckline options.
here is the front

and the back

and my preferred way of wearing it (more cleav)

i had a bit of trouble attatching the, erm, strap?
and i made it wayyyyyy too tight and had to cut triangle panels and put them in the sides.
but yeah
do you think i can wear it in public?
thanks. dominique
