1  Short N Sweet in Projects from The Happy Hooker by Debbie Stoller by yarn_nut on: August 28, 2007 12:48:59 PM
Here's another one finished!  I crocheted it out of Berroco Merino.  Fun pattern and I only modified the sleeves by crocheting only 4 rounds instead of 8.  Thanks for looking.

2  Pink baby hat and an unwilling model... in Knitting: Completed Projects by yarn_nut on: August 14, 2007 11:21:05 AM
It's so fun reading about all the FO's that I decided to put one in of my own.

I finished this baby hat in a few hours.  It's just a simple top down hat w/ seed stitch edge.  I used Wendy yarn, about 1/2 skein.  The model is my mini dachshund Waldo.  He was very mad at me for making him put the hat on.  I'm starting to volunteer as a doula for a local hospital and thought it would be nice to give a hat to every baby who's birth I attend.  Don't worry, I'm going to wash the hat!!!

Yours is really nice!  I love this project as well.  I finished mine about 2 years ago when the mag first came out.  Mine is knit with this lavender Cotton Fleece.

5  Re: Knit and Tonic's Somewhat Cowl? in Knitalongs by yarn_nut on: October 20, 2006 08:56:47 AM
Ok... this is somewhat embarrassing but I finally finished the Somewhat Cowl.  Here's a picture of it.

The ends aren't woven in yet and neck isn't tacked down yet.  Of course it's not blocked.  But the knitting is done.  BTW, I loved seeing everyone's Cowls.

6  Lovely Lacy Socks from Interweave in Knitting: Completed Projects by yarn_nut on: October 13, 2006 09:14:42 AM
Anyone knit these socks?  I loved the pattern and the socks are going to be fun to wear.  Details are on my blog but here is a picture.

It's done.  My first sweater is finally complete.  It took me a little over two months.  I know I'm a slow knitter.   I used KnitPicks Crayon in Brick.  It's 100% cotton and super super soft.  pretty easy to knit with too.  I love this sweater it is so lightweight that I can even wear it now while it's 90 degrees down here in the south.  thanks again for the help along the way.  it's been a lot of fun!!!

Wow!  It looks great.  I love the color.  Two months is definitely not slow.  I've been knitting this for months!

I have pictures on my blog.  www.gailknits.blogspot.com.  Mine is made out of the 2 balls of Cotton Fleece.  Sorry about the picture quality.  I was trying to take a pic of it myself and it's all fuzzy.

I'm planning on knitting my next one.  This time it will be green!

9  Completed Celebrity Shawl in Crochet: Completed Projects by yarn_nut on: May 06, 2006 11:41:58 PM
This was my first crocheting attempt in a few years.

And here's another pick with the fringe on it.
I put the fringe on it but have yet to post a picture of it on my blog.  I love this shawl!  I knit it using a pattern from Stitch Diva and a yarn called Kim.  The yarn was very inexpensive.  $3.60 a ball and I only used 4 balls of it including the fringe.  More details on my blog www.gailknits.blogspot.com.  I plan on wearing it a lot more on warm summer nights when I just need something really light to cover my shoulders.

Oh.... I love the color of your shawl!  What fiber did you make it in?  I'm thinking of doing another one in cotton.

I loved everything about this project

I totally agree - me too!  Here's my Kiri.
