1  Halloween / Halloween Decor and Parties / Indoor or Outdoor Spooky Ghoul Hanging decoration on: October 22, 2013 08:18:02 AM
I first made these cute fellas about 4 years ago for a work event...a moment of inspiration and tahdahhhhh!!!

These ghosts are really easy to make, and very cheap too. You need a white balloon, marker pen, a 1" fishing float glow stick to put into the balloon before inflating (optional), and white fabric of approx 1.75m square cut with a raggedy edge if indoor use, or use a cheap budget shower curtain or table cloth for outside use. Then the clear acrylic fishing line to suspend the ghost from the ceiling/tree/bannister/doorways wherever you like!

Blow the balloon add the glowstick if desired, cut a tiny centre hole in the fabric to poke the balloon nipple through, use a marker pen to draw on the crazy eyes and other features, use the fishing line to hang it.

Super cheap, super fast, super easy, look amazing !!! Yay!!  Shocked

Your work is beautiful!

I read your rainbow story too, it is very sweet Smiley

In the UK we have lots of music/performance/poetry festivals with art installations in the forests surrounding them.  Something like this with your story on a noticeboard next to it would delight both children and adults. xx

Thanks for feedback - comments and crit always welcome Smiley
I've been working on the proper southpark characters this week - not to sell, as a gift for someone special. I'm making a few more trees for the background, and have been looking at some of the southpark buildings too... It's gonna look more like a theatre than a nativity scene cos its getting so busy. LOL.

I also thought about crafting the actual whole nativity scene, still using "park-esque" looking figures but dressed traditionally, with a "Sean the Sheep", the horse out of Toy Story...and other well known characters. You get the idea!
