21  CROCHET / Projects from The Happy Hooker by Debbie Stoller / fit to be tied purse on: March 23, 2006 08:44:55 AM
I just finished making the fit to be tied purse for my daughter. I decided it would be perfect for easter. I plan on making another in black with the pink ribbon for myself. Sorry about the quality of the photo. I have a cheap camera. It is suppose to be bright yellow with a hot pink ribbon. The material in the background is what I lined the bag with. It's a lime green with little circles. Thanks for looking.

is anyone else working on this project? I almost have the back piece finished. I can't wait to see what it looks like when I finish it. I used an acrylic yarn to make sure I like the look on me before buying expensive yarn. I'm using redheart heathers in berry. Very pretty.
23  CROCHET / Crochet: Discussion and Questions / afghan patterns on: February 19, 2006 08:40:40 AM
I was wondering if anyone could help me out with finding a pretty, fairly uncomplicated afghan pattern. I've looked through all of mine and I just haven't seen one that jumps out and says make me. I wanted to make myself a throw that I can take with me to the hospital when I have a baby this august. Basically I just want a pattern that can be finished by then but I don't have to sit and follow a complicated pattern. Thanks for the help.
24  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / harry potter afghan on: February 17, 2006 11:39:17 AM
this is a picture of the granny afghan I made my daughter. She is a harry potter fan and I started this about a year ago. I've just been lazy finishing it. In fact, it isn't as big as I was going to make it but I might add on later. Smiley
I apologize if the picture doesn't show!
25  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / knitted socks on: February 15, 2006 01:11:31 PM
I have been knitting for about a year and a half. I still have not been able to figure out knitting on three or more needles. I was wondering if anyone knew where I could find patterns for two needle socks that don't look bulky or unattractive. I would appreciate the help! thanks. (Basically I want an easy pattern I can whip up pretty quickly.)
