AHAHAHAHA!! That is HILARIOUS! Just today I was trying to figure out a way to make Gabriel:
wear a ninja costume. I LOVE your pumpkin and the fact kitty looks pissed. Nice job!

23  Re: Please post your best costume... in Halloween Costumes by MadelBlue on: October 23, 2005 06:00:05 AM
My boyfriend and I started going out Sept. 16, 2003. That year we went as each other for Halloween. He got hit on three times and two of my roommates screamed when they came in and saw me in the kitchen (they both thought I was an unnanounced maintance man) How I love moustaches...... This is one of my favorite pictures of all time.

I actually have three bags full of bags I never use (I'm very picky, this one's too small, this one doesnt have a cell pocket, this one's strap is too short etc etc etc) so it was hard to choose. THis is the bag I
ALREADY SENT to Sparkle Horse today, Friday 10/21. Its a mini-backpack type I really like it I just think it's super ugly and I HATE the numbers on the front.

25  Re: Glass Wine Bottles in What the heck can I do with THIS? by MadelBlue on: October 11, 2005 12:10:42 PM
I saw this idea for a cool table in a book I have. I can post directions if you want, or you could adapt it to your own requirements.

That is 300% aweswome. I'm a total wino and just put all of our bottles out for recycling! DARN! Oh well, I'll just have to drink up and recollect some bottles. Great idea for a thread!

26  Jewelry Box in Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General by MadelBlue on: August 15, 2005 09:01:07 AM
Since I've been extra bored lately, I've been running around the house photographing crafty things I've made. This is a jewlery box I made a few years ago. It's just one of those el cheapo $.99 plain wood boxes from Micheals. I used acrylic paint and silk flowers and decopaged paper that I ripped off to give it that effect. The inside lid is Mod Podged fabric scraps and the bottom is felt.

27  FOUND TABLE in Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by MadelBlue on: August 06, 2005 03:51:16 PM
At the end of the semester my school hauls in huge dumpsters and sets them up outside the dorms for all of the kids who are too lazy/ don't have enough room to take furniture, room essentials etc. I found this side table sitting next to it last year and have just gotten around to doing something with it. I love it and it's perfect for a bedside table. In real life the flaws aren't as noticeable. What do you think?

This is the one I made for myself. It's pretty similar to the other one. Thanks for the feedback, it's much appreciated!

29  Bunch of candy tins into pocket altars?? in Completed Projects by MadelBlue on: July 23, 2005 06:45:11 PM
Okay so I discovered this site about a week ago and have been obsessively lurking since. I am just so inspired but all of you crafty kids, some of you just blow me away. (On a completely unrelated note: I notice a lot of us have kitties, must go hand in hand with craftiness) Anywho being unemployed I decided to rummage around my crafting bins. I threw together some supplies I had and viola! My first post and the first crafty thing I've done in a while. I've only managed to photograph the one I just gave away... I have more pics of this one and I'll post some pics of the other ones as I finish

Supplies I used:
Metal Candy Tins
Origami paper
MOD PODGE and Mod Podge sparkle!!!
Fabric scraps
Fabric glue
527 cement
Fimo clay
Tea Light and incense
