1  CLOTHING / Clothing: Discussion and Questions / Bleach toturial, please! on: November 06, 2005 07:32:47 AM
I saw a lot of people using bleach on clothes and I wanted to try on a black shirt I have.

First, I taught "I'm no idiot, I'll just poor the bleach on it and wait." That didn't do anything.

So, then I tried to look here, and on google, for a tutorial and found nothing.

So, either the universe doesn't want me to learn how to bleach things, or I'm a moron.

Anyone can help me?

Call me silly, but that does not make me want to help you out. It's like walking into a biker bar, wearing a "Harley Davidson sucks" t-shirt and asking them to look at your bike...

3  CLOTHING / Clothing: Discussion and Questions / Re: Pants bottom seem on: October 30, 2005 11:06:37 AM
ok, thank you both! I'm going to try to make it by hand... Also, I think I have a "blind hem" stich of my sewing machine. I'll check my manual.

Thank you again!

Hi! boyfriend asked me to sew the bottom of his pants (I'm sorry, I can't remember the proper term for this). This thing is, I have no idea what this stich is. I took a couple pictures of the stich on the other leg (where it's not undone).

Thx in advance for any info you might have!

7  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Re: I gave my boss a cold virus.... on: October 24, 2005 01:34:52 PM
I agree it super cute.  I'd say it's even cuter in crochet form. You've given me the itch to make some of the others for myself! Tongue

8  COOKING / Dessert / Banana- berry muffins on: October 16, 2005 02:27:18 PM
I'm not one to eat muffins, I'll admit it. Specially if I made made them. The taste of flour is too intense, in my opinion and it always feels like I'm eating something a 2 years old made.

But I tried this recipe http://www.joyofbaking.com/muffins/StrawberryBananaMuffins.html and I'm in love. The banana are subtle and the berry (I used blue berry and rasberry) give a nice texture and taste.

You can see some pics of the muffins I made yesterday, around midnight, on my blog. It's in french, yes, but that is why I also gave you the direct link to www.joyofbaking.com. Tongue
