81  I'm a little bit country, I'm a little bit rock and roll (img heavy) in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by yoyowa on: August 26, 2005 03:39:37 PM
After seeing the jordy tutorial I finally printed it out and did it. I used the first diminesions given but then I didn't like them (too small) so I made another.

I made this one for my friend, who loves Donny Osmand and thinks he hot (eeewwwww!). Its a jordy but i made the stencil, my second stencil ever. I made a tote similiar to it for myself (of P&P)
This is the uotside, its a stripes material

a picture of the lining
and it is reversible (kinda.....)

This is the jordy I already made, the first one, but its to small for me. I think I'll give it to a younger cousin....

82  Oh, Mr. Darcey!!!! P&P tote in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by yoyowa on: August 19, 2005 06:00:28 AM
I am a true lover of Jane Austen movies (and of colin firth) so to show my love for period piece movies, I made a tote to wear with pride! (oh, the play on words, didn't even mean to *get it, Pride and Prejudice* hehehehE)

Its a reversible tote, but I'm not one for jean bags so it'll probably be the srtipes on the outside. The outside (stripes) says "I heart *picture of Mr Darcey played by colin firth*. The inside (which I figure no one would see but me) says "Mr. Darcey!!!! *Picture of colin firth*.
Yesterday I decided to learn to do stencil, printed out 6 big pictures and made stencils. Then an hour later I had this bag!!! lol

83  Re: ribbon purses!!!!! suuper cute!! in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by yoyowa on: July 29, 2005 06:35:26 PM
I finished mine, It was going to be a tote but after pattern troubles I went on without using a pattern. Here's mine:

Cat slave asked for a tutorial bits its really self explanitory. I stink at these but here (no pics, sorry)

1. Align ribbon in an eye pleasing way and sew them altogether ( wider ribbon is best, more room for sewing)
2. Cut into shape of pocketbook desired (same with lining)
3. Sew together the two sides (inside out).
4. So lining on
4. Sew handle onto lining
5. Turn it so its the correct way and sew the lining to the ribbon at the top.

TI wrote that quickly and its probably confusing but if yo have question then let me know, and I'l try to get pictures or draw it or something.
