11  Vintage Panel Fabric? in Clothing for Curvaceous Craftsters: Discussion and Questions by Kristen81 on: April 21, 2009 01:58:10 PM
Got this fabric at the thrift store!  Couldn't pass it up, it's just soooo pretty!

But....what to do with it?  Each square (panel) is 29.5" x 33"

I was thinking a handkerchief dress?  But not sure how to construct one or if it would be flattering on a plus sized frame (I don't want to look preggers)...what do you think?

oh!  and a skirt won't work with this stuff...it's a little thin and I don't want to line it.  Plus, it gives the carpet cellulite!  I'd hate to see what it does with my butt!

15  Oscar the Grouch in Amigurumi: Completed Projects by Kristen81 on: March 31, 2009 10:14:24 PM
Crocheted this for my boyfriend.

He comes out of his can too (forgot to get a shot of that) and stands (sits) about 12" tall.

The yarn started out as a broomstick lace scarf that was cut short when I realized just what colour the yarn was!

I received this week from Kristen81 some AMAZING felt food!

First...my son being SUPER excited to get his own package...

She included a tossed salad, pizza with toppings, noodles and meat balls, bacon and eggs, a doughnut, a banana, an ear of corn, and a cake slice. All of the food together:

A detail shot of the tossed salad, which included little tiny tomatoes, and the bacon with it's marbling!

And my son instantly recognized everything. He was especially pleased to see cake Smiley

THANK YOU SO MUCH! Everything was so well put together and detailed and cute. I love it!

\\

Glad he liked everything!!!
