There's also McCall's 5624, Butterick 5181, and Burda 7682. None of them are for knits, though.

http://www.mccallpattern.com/item/M4381.htm is pretty easy and has a snug fit that I liked. I only made the sleeveless version, however, and I read that the sleeves are a bit too snug. The collar also stands up straight at the back of the neck instead of hugging the neck. Overall, I liked this pattern.

I've made dresses from this pattern twice, plus sewn muslins of it in two sizes (4 and Cool, and I never had the problem you describe. What size did you sew? Maybe some sizes don't fit as well as others.
