ugh ZS, that sounds really tiring!
Did you have to drive much of the way?  That part really tires me out --
I'm better as a passenger!
Finishing up my projects for the Psych swap -- I have an idea for a mini painting, but
am petrified every time I think of how un-erasable paint is if you make a mistake on the canvas!
*sigh*

I actually am not a big driver, especially on the highway, I get all panicky and anxious, so my husband usually just does the driving so as to not have to deal with my insanity.
Which is why I have so much time to craft in the car, lol!  Cheesy

We are finally home, got back last night.  Longest most exhausting vacation ever, and seeing as how my husband pretty much worked the whole time (since he can telecommute, he even went into town and worked at the Panera when we were staying where there wasn't internet) I am not really considering it a vacation.  NOW I need a vacation, but I don't ever want to get in the car again.  Altogether we spent 3173 miles/56hours 33mins in the car.

I did get some crafting in though so that is awesome!  I missed crocheting and knitting.  I am REALLY itching to learn how to knit in the round and try my hand at socks now!  YAY!

Hope everyone is doing great, I am off to reopen my shop and check out what everyone has in their shops!

ACK!  I just remembered that my husband's grandparents that we will be staying with next week doesn't have internet!
Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked

Guess I will have plenty of time to crochet popcorn!  LOL!  Maybe I will be able to convince my husband to take us into town to a Panera or Starbucks so I can check in... (she also doesn't get cell service so I can't even check my email from my phone)

Well, we've been in MO since Sunday and today was the first day it didn't rain/storm all day, but at least the rain has given me time to knit/crochet.  I worked on my all knit stitch practice blanket until I ran out of yarn (it's lionbrand homespun and I only brought 1 skein since they are huge) and then I whipped up a mini Dalek (he's 4.5 inches and adorable).  I still have popcorn to crochet, but seeing as we have another 30 hours to spend in the car over the next week and a half there will be plenty of time!  And I have an embroidery project as well if I get bored with popcorn!

I have limited internet time so I better go and get everything else done!

I can see I don't have to read up on that many pages Tongue lucky me!^^ Next craftings: lxm's costum vest and reknit faery doll for zelda. I'm assuming it got lost in transit :/ Oh well...it's a joy knitting that little thing^^

As far as I know it still hasn't shown up in the mail (we've been away since the 10th), I hate to think the mail monster ate it but it has been a while... :/
Glad to hear it's not a pain to knit though!
And CONGRATS!!  WOOOHOOOO!!

Couldn't make those oreos because we don't have any sugar in the house, LAME!

Closed my shop yesterday, will open back up around the 26th for the last few days (maybe a couple days earlier if I can get online).  My craft bag is packed, it's the only bag packed, lol.  We are leaving tomorrow afternoon so I guess I should probably go get busy with all that...
Gonna miss you not-as-chatty-as-usual ladies!

YUM! oreos!
I made chocoloate/peanut butter bark last night. I would put it in my shop, but I think it might finally be too warm here (an other places as well) to hold up in the mail. sad.

MORE FOR ME!

I have never been more sad that it's already summer here... Sad
Guess I will have to make those oreos... I wonder if they would travel well Cheesy

Ack!  I was just informed we are now leaving on Friday... I am going to go insane.
Tonight will be spent making lists, tomorrow will be spent finishing up a few sewing projects that HAVE to be done before we go (like altering Z's flower girl dress so that it actually fits) and packing my craft bag (the fun bag to pack, lol), then the rest of the week will be spent cleaning and doing laundry and packing the 3 of us (the only person I don't pack for is my husband).  I think I will be closing up my shop on Wednesday now instead of Friday morning.
I may check in while we our gone, it will just depend on how crazy things are... I wish I was going to Vegas to eat deep fried twinkies and oreos instead... *nom*

I try to avoid having to do a gauge swatch at all costs (LOL), but I guess I will have to, I will try 3 strands first though!  Thanks, I knew I could count on you guys' expertise!  Kiss
