I loved this, and watched some of your youtube videos. I decided to give it a try. . .

2  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / I needed a bookbag. He had an old camo jacket. on: May 25, 2014 02:23:21 PM

Outside front

Under front flap, more pockets. I've been meaning to line the flap, but haven't gotten around to it.

Wearing it.  Smiley
3  Halloween / Halloween Costumes / Face painting with glasses on: October 06, 2012 02:17:43 AM
I'm going as a fairy this year. I wanted to wear a pretty mask, but I wear glasses now and it would be weird. I'm kind of stuck with face painting. I wanted to do a pretty design around my eyes, but i'm afraid my glasses would ruin the effect. Any suggestions?
4  BATH AND BEAUTY / Bath and Beauty: Discussion and Questions / Re: Show off your hair! on: September 17, 2005 04:11:58 PM
Is this thread still going on? Well, here's my hair if anyone's interested. Sorry about the big pictures.

A couple days after the first time I dyed it blue: (Sorry about the weird lighting)

5  IMAGE REPRODUCTION TECHNIQUES / Stenciling: Discussion and Questions / Re: Stenciling on contact paper to make stickers on: September 16, 2005 04:20:58 PM
That's a way cool idea. I might do that.
6  IMAGE REPRODUCTION TECHNIQUES / Stenciling: Discussion and Questions / Decorating my violin case on: September 12, 2005 04:32:10 PM
I play the violin, and I have just a plain black cloth-covered case. It looks kind of like this. I wanted to stencil on it to make it unique so I could know it's mine. Do you have any ideas what I could put on it? Not some little flowers or something, though. Should I just do random funny stencils or my name or what? Maybe you could use paint or some other image program to draw on the picture to show me your ideas? Visual aids are nice. Thanks!
7  IMAGE REPRODUCTION TECHNIQUES / Stenciling: Completed Projects / Blame The TV (pics are fixed) on: August 28, 2005 11:20:23 PM
I absolutely love the design "Blame the tv" from threadless.com, and when I saw it made into a stencil on freewebs.com/stencily I knew I must do it. Here's how it turned out:

It took forever to cut out, but it was well worth it. I think I'm in love with this shirt.  Cheesy
8  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Men's Coat to Messenger Bag on: August 27, 2005 06:57:28 PM
It went from this:

to this:

And it's reversable, so this is it reversed:

And me wearing it:

It's made out of wool, and the lining/reversed side is cotton. The outside is a herringbone pattern (it kind of looks just grey because the pattern is so small) and the lining is pinstriped on the flap and sides and bottom, and the sides are plain black. There are two pockets on the inside/pinstripe side and one under the flap on the wool side. It took forever to make, but I love love love it. What do you think? The pictures are kind of bad quality. heh. I used this as a guide.

Sorry. Pictures are fixed.
