81  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Hudson Sweater from Jane Ellison Noro Book on: August 03, 2005 06:55:53 PM
This version, made from just under two skeins of natural black Eco-wool (about $30 total) on size 10 1/2 needles, is cheaper and more versatile than the self-striping one shown in the book. I hope you can see well enough despite the hard-to-photograph black.

Hudson knits up fairly quickly, and can easily be modified to be worked mostly in the round for those who hate seaming. I'm working on a mauve one now for a birthday present, and am knitting the body all in one piece this time, which is working out great. Thanks for looking!

ruffle = very very cute. yet another triumph of the unintentional improvement afforded by "mistakes". good for you! great color, too. do you have a pic of the back?

Very cute! You make it look great, and it goes well with the dress. Jinx has good taste.

That's lovely. The color and style both look great on you, and your knitting looks beautiful. How did you like working with the soy silk? Trickier than wool?
