i did this before. the crotch is okay its the side seams that are off. seam rip the side seams and fold the u in half. i hope that makes since. the side seams should fold back into seperate legs and the waiist will apear on top. it sounds difficult but if you just rip the side seams apart and play with the folding on the side pieces you will seee where you went awiye. it tickeled me soo much when i figured it out cause its just a little fold and it's no where on the pattern to indicate which direction you are suppose to be folding. and i didn't find out about the folding technig until after i had put my baby in her MC hammer pants Grin lolol, lolol lolol

i often see dots with strips and checksand flowers her on crafters that combin and make beautiful ensembles. how to you chose which colors go well together? just looking for advice cause i am color blind when it comes to fashion. also how do you accesorize?

Sew i finaly fiqured out how to make pants but now i am crying over skirts. the waistbands that is. when i try to use the elastic  c asting method the skirt seams to bunch up eather to one side or the bac k not staying still. drawstrings tend to gather at the front and when i sew the elastic  right in it loses it stretch. soon help me tell me where there is a visible slow mo tute c ause i have over six unfished skirts driving me c razy

 Grin i think the set is beautiful and i laugh so hard when i read your daughters actions. its a good thing, shows shes above average to make opions already. put the dress on a bear. make a big fuss on how cute it is and wait a couple of days. put dress on dd. make even bigger fuss Grin.

my machine has a feed drop tap for thicker fabrics like quilts. maybe yours has something simular.

i think $27 dollars is to much for a pillowcase dress no matter the fabric. be resonable when pricing because people who buy pillowcase dresses are usually looking for some thing simple and casual for a toddler and since it will most likey be worn for play our quick ensembles it shouldn't be to pricy.
