1  POTTERY, CERAMICS, POLYMER CLAY / Polymer Clay: Completed Projects / Transfer pendant and 'inside-out' beads on: February 23, 2007 07:09:48 PM
A few more attempts at this type of bead. It's hard to get the effect you want, but these ones escaped being squished into scrap clay. My second pic transfer pendant. I love it, but haven't found a way I like to wear it yet, so it's been sitting in my bead box all lonely.
2  POTTERY, CERAMICS, POLYMER CLAY / Polymer Clay: Completed Projects / Faux stone and clay pendants/beads on: February 23, 2007 07:00:50 PM
This is my first go at trying to create a stone look that actually works. A couple of these were s'pose to look like stone, but ended up looking like old clay beads. I guess it works.
3  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / Cute Felt Snake (large-ish image, sorry) on: August 29, 2006 06:27:27 PM
Just cut him out of craft felt, sewed, stuffed, and painted. Ain't he cute?

4  POTTERY, CERAMICS, POLYMER CLAY / Polymer Clay: Completed Projects / First 'zine transfer! And stuff... on: August 29, 2006 06:21:35 PM
The black-framed tree is my first-ever magazine transfer with liquid scupley. I really like it, but I scrubbed a little hard on the back getting the paper fibers off, and so rubbed some ink off, and it's a little wrinkly, but I like it. The cow skull/head was made from an accident. You all have probably done the same thing, tried hard to make on ething, only to screw up and then realize you could totally turn it in to something awesome. So yay.

I forget what kind of bead it is I made in the next row, but it's the same technique used to make the 'elissa-hearts' on the bottom: squish/twist etc your scrap clay, mold into rectangle, cut in half and attach side by side, then cut each half in half, and fold those halves behind, thusly turning the rectangle inside out and smoothing the seams.

The othe two are just pendants...the beetle i printed out on special shrinky paper for the computer.

5  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / The Swap Gallery / Create-A-Creature Swap Gallery! on: July 26, 2006 01:55:52 PM

6  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: General / My version of paper beads on: July 09, 2006 09:32:02 PM
I have this wonderful stack of adhesive paper...cut into skinny triangles, color, and roll on hollow q-tip sticks. Voila!

7  POTTERY, CERAMICS, POLYMER CLAY / Polymer Clay: Completed Projects / Cheesy fruity goodness on: July 09, 2006 09:28:51 PM
I made these poly clay earrings for a personal swap, as well as my first attempt at a bead covered with cane slices. As you can tell, didn't try too hard, but I still like it. It's like question marks...

8  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: General / Homemade Stickers on: June 30, 2006 11:33:46 AM
I have a stack of adhesive-backed paper that was wanting to be turned into bug stickers, so:
(They look better in person, this is a really crappy scan)
9  Craft Swaps / ARCHIVE OF SWAPS THAT ARE TOTALLY FINISHED / "Create-A-Creature" Swap! Sign-ups CLOSED Mail out by 7/27 on: June 29, 2006 09:38:33 PM
Swap name: Create-A-Creature Swap
Organizer: Sitki
Sign-up date range: June 29 to July 7 (4 more days to sign up!)
Date to send item by: July 25

Limited to a certain number of people? No

Non-U.S. participants allowed? Yes

All ages allowed? Or 18+? all ages - parental permission required if under 16

Organizer meets the 4 conditions for swapping and will make sure that every participant meets these conditions: YES

EDIT: Due to mild confusion, I shall clarify: You make a list of 5 creatures you want to make, and your partner gets to pick from the list. OR-- List 5 you'd like to recieve, and your partner can pick what they'd like to make.If you and your partner want to do things differently, that's fine, as long as you're both happy.

A 'horned' toad, a winged zebra, a cuddly pink gargoyle...wouldn't it be fun to make up your own unconventional and original creature? This swap is dedicated to creating the most unique creature your imagination can come up with. You will make a list of 5 creatures that your partner can pick from (or 5 you'd like your partner to create). You have the choice of crafting the following:

-ATC (Artist Trading Card, 2x3 inches) OR
-1 Small craftcoin purse, cell cozy, polymer clay creature, etc.

-Large crafttote/purse, wall art etc. OR
-Med. Craftt-shirt, journal, zipper purse, etc.

So you'll be sending two items.

These are only examples of things to craft, not limitations. Be creative, and communicate with your partner.
