1  Ribbon-embellished onesie in Clothing for Kids: Completed Projects by frix220 on: March 14, 2009 07:06:39 PM
Unbelievably easy and I love how it turned out. My daughter's wardrobe will be getting more of these!! But next time I'll know to put the butt ruffle a little bit lower

This is the Annette Reversible Sundress pattern from YouCanMakeThis.com. Very simple and quick!

The reverse is just light blue

I made a size 1 for future use, but my 2 month old will probably be in it this summer!!

4  Cupcake pillowcase dress & party hat in Clothing for Kids: Completed Projects by frix220 on: April 10, 2008 09:09:02 AM

My niece {actually, my very best friend's daughter} is turning one on June 1st.. so of course Aunt Sally had to whip up a birthday dress!!
I got the adorable fabric from ebay. I love how the cupcakes have shimmery gold on them- since it will be her golden birthday: one on the first. After wanting to make one for a long time, this is my first pillowcase dress.  I love it! The party hat is probably my favorite part though Smiley

5  Re: TUTORIAL: Singlet Style Shopping Bag (like the plastic shopping bag) in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by frix220 on: January 21, 2008 04:17:36 PM
Thanks for this tute.. it was exactly what I've been looking for! I wanted to make my mom a bag- she goes to a farmer's market -type thing on the weekends and I even found the perfect fabric.
I think I'm going to save it and give it to her for Valentine's Day next month.

6  Re: Sequin X-mas Ornaments in Winter Holidays by frix220 on: December 18, 2007 09:28:20 AM
I bought some supplies to try this out at my local Joanns. The only sequin pins they had were 1/2" in a box of 350 for $2.59. And only one size of smooth balls, and a very limited selection of sequins. But it's a starting point!
Same here! I grabbed my supplies at JoAnn's.. no sequin pins, but the lady said she just used regular pins.. anyway I ran out of sequins half way thru Roll Eyes So I have to go back and get more to finish this one ornament. I think I'll make more too as last minute gifts.. they're just so darn cute! Thanks for the idea!!!!!

7  Beside- um- caddy (?) in Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: General by frix220 on: December 08, 2007 08:43:34 PM
So what do you make for the little sister who has a small bedroom, which always seems to be a mess?? Here's my solution.

It fits between the two matresses on a bed.. I made a large pocket for a magazine/book, and the top two pockets are for her cell & iPod. The rest is for whatever she wants to put in it. Oh, and I also added clear vinyl pockets for hairties/bobby pins/jewelry Smiley Hope she likes it!

8  Re: The 2007 "What do I make for..." thread! in Winter Holidays by frix220 on: December 08, 2007 08:39:36 PM
I just finished a Christmas gift for my little sister. It's a bedside.. um.. holder thingee. It fits between the two matresses. She has a tiny room and it's always a mess! So hopefully this will get her a little more organized- at least her bedstand will be less cluttered! Anyway I thought it may inspire a gift idea for someone else  Smiley
