1  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Weddings and Bridal Showers / glittery soles for the soul on: February 25, 2019 08:31:58 PM
so, I have a ton of crafts from my wedding, and a favorite, due to the glitteryness, is the following diy technique for glittering the bottom of your favorite pair of shoes, although this method can be used for just about any substance more on that later! glittery soles for the soul:

        supplies:

o    shoes

o    disposable paintbrush

o    disposable container

o    modge podge

o    glitter

        steps:

1.      mix glitter into modge podge until its creamy, but not chunky

2.      paint it onto the bottom of the shoe, wiping edges as you go

3.      let dry for 24 hoursish

        cost:

o    $7 modge podge

o    $1 paintbrush

o    $4 - glitter

Im a freak, and already had all this stuff, so it was a no brainer! this makes the soles nice and skid-proof actually enjoy!

3  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Party Planning / rose napkin folding on: February 25, 2019 08:22:57 PM
I used these for a wedding, but they are a special romantic treat for you and your special someone on Valentines Day, or an assortment of other occasions.

supplies:

square fabric napkins

steps:

fold napkin in half along the diagonal (lining up opposite corners)

fold up from the long side, making approximately 1 folds

once entirely folded, begin rolling napkin from one end

just before rolling to the end, tuck in the last bit of the other end into the rolled napkin

Voila! You have made a rose napkin! Not blingy enough for you? Me either! Check out the optional additional blinging below:

supplies (additional blingy option):

single rose leaves with wire stem

heart shaped beads with two holes

rhinestones

super glue

tweezers or wax gem pencil

steps:

add rhinestones to the hearts with super glue, utilizing your tweezers or wax gem pencil

create trios of leaves by twisting three leaf stems together, making sure they are evenly spaced, leave a bit of wire untwisted at the end

run the wire through both holes of the heart shaped beads, twist under heart to secure bead

pull the heart end of your bling through the center of the napkin, careful not to undo the fold

move leaves into desired position

And bam! You have blingy rose napkins!
