1  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Punny Wind Turbine TM patch on: December 14, 2019 04:31:47 PM

I made this for a swap.  I didnt have time to stitch the words, so I wrote them on clear shrinky dinks and painted the back with nail polish.  It was so easy!  Im definitely using that trick in the future.
2  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Rube Goldberg TM patch on: December 14, 2019 04:28:21 PM
I made this for a swap! It was fun and more challenging than I had expected.

3  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Felted a sweater slippers on: December 14, 2019 04:26:17 PM
I made these slippers for a swap.  I used a super easy free pattern from marthastewart.com.

4  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / BIG Santa Bulldog Hoopla on: December 11, 2019 01:31:59 PM
I found a 12 hoop at a thrift shop and I knew I had to make it into a Christmas gift.  I chose a Santa bulldog because my brother-in-law and his girlfriend have the sweetest one you've ever met.  My kids love her.

5  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Toddler poncho from fleece tie blanket on: December 07, 2019 12:16:37 PM
Bulky winter coats and car seats just dont mix, so I cut a hole in a fleece to blanket.  Tada!  Instant poncho!  I just lift the back and lay it over the car seat head rest.  Then he pulls his feet up under the poncho and snuggles in tight.  Cost: $0! If only I had thought about this before kid #5.
6  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: General / Fabric yoyo Christmas wreath & ugly Christmas sweater ornaments on: November 30, 2019 01:49:07 PM
I made this yoyo Christmas wreath for BigBangMomma. I used a charm pack titled, "Eat, Drink, and Be Ugly.  I used the fabric printed with ugly Christmas sweaters to make embroidered ornaments.  I'm so glad BBM took pictures because I forgot.  It looks like a few yoyos and the bow got a little squished during shipment, but I bet they will straighten back out.  I love making yoyos, but they take FOREVER.  I finally broke down and purchased a Clover yoyo maker.  I couldn't believe how quickly I knocked those little circles out!

7  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: General / Wreath with school spirit! on: November 15, 2019 05:11:58 AM
I made this wreath for my sister-in-law for Christmas. Her kids are super active in sports so I made a wreath in their school colors. There are a lot of flaws and I dislike the busy green and yellow alternating pattern, but its done! I have too many unfinished Christmas gift projects to go back and redo it. I think shell like it anyway.

9  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Teesha Moore style Cub Scout bag on: October 23, 2019 06:23:47 AM
My sons Cub Scout leader is tirelessly dedicated to our pack and she never gets enough recognition for the work she does, so I made her this bag.  I used mostly Cub Scout panel fabric.

10  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / TM patches on: October 13, 2019 04:20:39 PM
I made these science-themed TM patches for a recent swap.  My amazing swap partner, craftADDchick just posted the stunning patches she made me.  Mine don't hold a candle to her embroidery skills, but they are still fun. Smiley

I ironed fusible interfacing to the background fabric and ran it through my ink jet printer in order to get the lettering on this patch.  It worked perfectly!

And here are some smaller science-y patches.
