1  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Western shirts by my incredibly talented mom on: July 08, 2019 01:03:36 PM
My incredibly talented mom entered all kinds of creations into her county fair.  Tatted table cloth, necklace, basket, fairy house, and clothes for five of her many grandkids.  She is just a superstar. I will only post these two shirts, just to give you an idea of how talented my momma is.

My cousins daughter Gracie lives several states away, but when she heard that sweet Gracie needed cowgirl shirts to wear when she did barn chores, mom was on it!

Little Hudson loves police officers.  My sister is a detective and the yokes, buttons, and patches came from her old uniform.
2  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Outdoorsy Teesha Moore bag for my sister on: July 06, 2019 04:02:37 PM
Its finally done!  My sister asked for a Teesha Moore bag for Christmas.  She and I have very different taste in colors.  She loves earth tones.  My favorite colors could best be described as unicorn vomit. I really struggled for a bit, but JoyfulClover literally saved this bag when she sent me the beautiful turquoise bison patch.  I had to rework the bag to integrate the turquoise and it was EXACTLY what it needed.

The beautiful bison:

EDIT: Here are the leftover patches.  I would love to do a personal swap and send these off to a loving home.

I love all the OTT swap galleries. Anyone up for one? Tiny baby bats for inspiration. Smiley
4  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / My little girls first unicorn embroidery and Pom Pom scarf! on: June 25, 2019 01:40:16 PM
My sweet Lucy Mae made her very first embroidery and sewing projects for Mini 4-H.  The unicorn is a kit from Wal-Mart and just the right thing for a beginner.

5  QUILTING / Quilting: Completed Projects / Clifty Falls State Park map as a quilt on: June 22, 2019 07:25:46 PM
Im at Clifty Falls State Park Inn locates in southern Indiana.  This stunning quilt is hanging in the lobby.  It is a map of the park.  Im just in awe of the detail and creativity that went into this quilt.  I am truly inspired.  I got a few close ups, but Im not tall enough to reach much of the quilt.

EDIT: I went back and took more pictures!

6  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Discussion and Questions / Share your best Girl Scout crafts! on: May 28, 2019 01:31:31 PM
I have a very busy little group of kindergarten and first grade daisy scouts.  We did lots of crafts this year and I need more ideas for next year.  Please share your suggestions for Girl Scout crafting!  This year me made melt & pour soap, shrinky dinks, kool aid& Vaseline lip gloss, macaroni jewelry, orange rind bird feeders, pipe cleaner bird nests, and painted flower pots. What are your go to projects for little girls?
7  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Completed Projects / Reconstructed T-Shirts into Summer Play Shirts & Dresses on: May 24, 2019 06:17:42 PM
My daughter is pretty rough on her clothes in the summer, so I reconstructed a few of my unloved t-shirts into play clothes.

Hot pink shirt - Sharpie & yoyo flowers
Light pink shirt - Sharpie & crayon tinting
Cheater tie die - Sharpie & rubbing alcohol "tie dye"

8  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Completed Projects / Kitty ear headband on: May 20, 2019 07:51:05 PM
I made this for my daughters upcoming birthday.  The ears are a little crooked because I was contorting my whole body just to squeeze the last little bit of glue from my glue gun.  Cheesy

9  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / New Swap Theme Ideas / Teesha Moore style patch swap? on: May 19, 2019 12:11:46 PM
I would love to do a Teesha Moore patch swap.  We could either do just a single patch or we could do a small collection of related patches, maybe five, that the recipient could turn into whatever they wish.
10  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Teesha Moore backpack for my sweet birthday girl on: May 17, 2019 02:38:44 AM
My daughter is turning eight in a couple weeks.  She really wanted a Teesha Moore style bag to carry around all her special stuff.  I hope she loves it. ❤️
