I can hardly wait for the OTT swap!  I need a new pin cushion.  This little lady has seen better days.  My Pinterest is now full of pin cushion ideas.  Grin

I love the renovation photos!  Im working on a TM patch bag for our Cub Scout leader.  She is incredibly dedicated and never gets enough credit for her hard work.  Its 4-H fair week, so the ducks and chickens are keeping me company.

3  Western shirts by my incredibly talented mom in Clothing: Completed Projects: General by Powerhouseofthecell on: July 08, 2019 01:03:36 PM
My incredibly talented mom entered all kinds of creations into her county fair.  Tatted table cloth, necklace, basket, fairy house, and clothes for five of her many grandkids.  She is just a superstar. I will only post these two shirts, just to give you an idea of how talented my momma is.

My cousins daughter Gracie lives several states away, but when she heard that sweet Gracie needed cowgirl shirts to wear when she did barn chores, mom was on it!

Little Hudson loves police officers.  My sister is a detective and the yokes, buttons, and patches came from her old uniform.

4  Outdoorsy Teesha Moore bag for my sister in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by Powerhouseofthecell on: July 06, 2019 04:02:37 PM
Its finally done!  My sister asked for a Teesha Moore bag for Christmas.  She and I have very different taste in colors.  She loves earth tones.  My favorite colors could best be described as unicorn vomit. I really struggled for a bit, but JoyfulClover literally saved this bag when she sent me the beautiful turquoise bison patch.  I had to rework the bag to integrate the turquoise and it was EXACTLY what it needed.

The beautiful bison:

EDIT: Here are the leftover patches.  I would love to do a personal swap and send these off to a loving home.

Im still not convinced I have the skills to join this swap.  However, I found a few more non-paper craft tins that are pretty cool.

8  My little girls first unicorn embroidery and Pom Pom scarf! in Needlework: Completed Projects by Powerhouseofthecell on: June 25, 2019 01:40:16 PM
My sweet Lucy Mae made her very first embroidery and sewing projects for Mini 4-H.  The unicorn is a kit from Wal-Mart and just the right thing for a beginner.

9  Clifty Falls State Park map as a quilt in Quilting: Completed Projects by Powerhouseofthecell on: June 22, 2019 07:25:46 PM
Im at Clifty Falls State Park Inn locates in southern Indiana.  This stunning quilt is hanging in the lobby.  It is a map of the park.  Im just in awe of the detail and creativity that went into this quilt.  I am truly inspired.  I got a few close ups, but Im not tall enough to reach much of the quilt.

EDIT: I went back and took more pictures!

10  Re: Personal/Private Swap Gallery, 2019 in The Swap Gallery by Powerhouseofthecell on: June 15, 2019 08:23:10 PM
JoyfulClover was kind enough to do a Teesha Moore patch swap with me.  This was my very first swap and I am just amazed by the stunning patches she made.  I told JoyfulClover that I'm making several TM patch bags for loved ones, so she worked off of those themes.  First, a vibrant DNA patch.  I'm a biology teacher and I just love it.  I may just hang it as-is in my classroom.  Second, a gorgeous Celtic knot owl.  This will go on a bag for my mother and I know she will adore it.  Finally, a breathtaking white bison patch for my sister's bag.  I have really been struggling with this bag and this patch is exactly what I needed.  Not only is it beautiful, but the aqua required me to add blue stitching to some of my other patches to create unity.  It was exactly the shot of color my muddy, dull bag needed.  Thank you so much JoyfulClover for the lovely patches.
