Kirks sell (well they used to sell!) DPNS - I got some in the last sale. It might be worth having a look?

Im sure SPCAS would appreciate acrylic knitted blankets! I used to make polar fleece blankies for the cats that they could chuck in the drier... I know they were well used but unfortunately got burnt in the fire last year! boo!

I didn't know this thread was still alive! lol

I think thats a GREAT idea about taking the photos outside - I live in a shoebox so its out of the question at the moment (I don't fancy hauling all my whales to the park just yet, lol) but hopefully when I get a new flat I can take some photos of whales hiding amongst the creepers!

In terms of photography, I have actually tried a lot of things - including making a light tent - you wouldn't be able to tell from those photos, but I have actually studied photography. I used to find that I would post a whale and it would sell quite quickly,so I wasn't too fussed about the photos. Now, however, as they are sitting around a fair bit, I might think about improving them a lot more... when I have room to make up a lighting arrangement, I mean Smiley

Thanks so much for your comments though, I really appreciate it! Yay!

I saw some cheapie guns, dice, bows and boats (or something else random) in little bags at the warehouse. I think they were the "craft" brand stuff they usually sell there. Otherwise maybe $2 shop?

Ah! So cool. I think I remember you posting about looking for coins on the Wellington livejournal community....?

It looks wonderful, so shiny too - great about the rock tumbler idea! And is that photo taken outside the Wellington library/Civic square area?? Smiley
