1  River Inn Bath Set in Crochet: Completed Projects by TexasPurl on: June 19, 2018 06:48:44 PM
I finally finished one of the design projects on my list. A pretty spa cloth and a soap pocket with bobble stitches on one side. My family loves the soap sacks, but not the annoying drawstring that gets knotted up. Thanks for looking.

2  Re: Crochet Shawl-Along (Formerly the Virus Shawl-Along) in Crochetalongs by TexasPurl on: June 08, 2018 06:27:51 AM
My first really large shawl. I usually lose interest and it ends up a small wrap.

Pattern Used: Erigeneia
Yarn Used: Lion Brand Mandala (Centaur) 2-1/2 cakes from stash.
Wingspan: 80"

3  Erigeneia Shawl in Crochet: Completed Projects by TexasPurl on: June 07, 2018 10:24:13 AM
Finished the Erigeneia shawl today. It's just fabulous. I used 2-1/2 cakes of Mandala in Centaur. Finished measurements are 80" wingspan X 40" neck to bottom point.

Ha! I managed to get pics in the post. I completed my "project" on Ravelry with photos. Then right click on the image, select "copy image address" then copy between the image tags.

Jennie - Thanks for inviting me to join in. I decided to stash dive & found 3 cakes of Mandala in Centaur. Not really my favorite color scheme (I'm sure I had a plan at one point in time). I started this Erigeneia shawl over the weekend. It's quite an easy pattern and grows quickly. Have a great day y'all!

5  Scrappy Mats for Shelter Cats (Crochet) in Crafty Charitable/Social Causes by TexasPurl on: May 12, 2018 03:00:26 PM
Ive decided to use my abundant yarn remnant collection (The Scrap Stash) to make crochet mats for the cats housed at shelters until they find a furever home. When they are adopted, the mat will go with them to give them something familiar in their new surroundings.

There are 2 versions; 3-Color Tunisian and Traditional Linen Stitch

6  Popsicle Kisses in Crochet: Completed Projects by TexasPurl on: May 10, 2018 10:03:34 AM
Im so excited to finally get this one off my list. Ive wanted to make a blanket for a little boy. I worked this one in Tunisian crochet. The pattern has guides for both traditional and Tunisian crochet. Such a fun & colorful piece. Its quite thick and at 40″ x 40″, its large enough for outdoor play.
