 Hey, Y'all!

I am still alive, believe it or not.    Roll Eyes    We have been busy around here, so not much knitting or blogging has been going on. But!! I am almost finished and ready to start sewing.  Yea!!
Eilene! Looks great, girlie. And really looks fantastic on you. I am anxious to see everyone else's. I will post mine in a couple of days when I finish.

So, are you guys going to knit another one? I am hooked. I may have to do a dress, too. There is a fantastic sweater in an older Interweave Knits that calls for something similar to Kidsilk. I think I may have to splurge on that, too, for concert attire. Hmmm, does that mean I can deduct it from my taxes, too? heh  Wink     Sharon

Oh, why did I come to this knit-along....now I am interested in the Mermaid as well. Geeez!!  Wink I am blaming Hope C. for it. Gonna hunt you down......(and follow you around with my credit card from yarn store to yarn store).
Veronique!! Gorgeous! I, too, want a pic of it on you. Way to go. I hope it goes to the partaaay!
Kerry Berry, about that tongue...heh No, just kidding. I do like the orange, too. What is it?? I think I did drop some stitches in the frill at first, but also found that the wine heals all....
I just finished the front of my camisole. Now for a little encore....It is a little shorter than the pic, but I have a silk top in mind, and it should work well over that. (fingers crossed) I have...uh...*womanly* hips and I just hope to God it doesn't accentuate them.

I have enjoyed your blog. And everything looks fantastic! How was the steeking process??? I have only steeked in Fair Isle and not a true Norwegain style steek. I have a Poetry In Stitches design waiting...whooohooo!   Shocked

You have come to the right place. This is a very friendly and helpful group. Good luck!  Grin

Wow, Buki!
It looks FANTASTIC!! Congrats. I think the mistake at the bottom looks like it is meant to be there, personally. I wouldn't worry about it.

Veronique, I didn't get row gauge either. I just increased closer together, but I am doing a shortened camisole, so it won't make much difference. I don't know how we could get row gauge without tightening the yarn too much. Yuck!

Eilene! Way to go, girlie.   Wink

Eilene, I found that I need to count after every row that increases or decreases. Then I can fix it by pulling up a YO on each end or undoing a K2 tog or whatever the case may be if the count is off. It is not mindless for sure, but you get the hang of it after a few rows. You just need to be diligent. Don't give up just yet!!    Wink    I think this one will be worth it in the end.

 Grin   You got it!

Just try the pattern with no YO at the beginning of the third row. Then see how the pattern works out. Make sure that the dec2 is in line with the stitch between the K2tog tbl and K2tog. I think there are some probs with this pattern, but haven't figured an easy fix.    Tongue  Good luck!

It IS a pain in the "you-know-what" to get the increases and decreases on the edges and stay in pattern. It's a problem working in the flat, too, Veronique. I am up to the increases now and will get to the arm decreases soon. This is such fun that I have not been working on anything else....uh...ANYTHING. Undecided     Everyone's butterflies look fantastic! I can't wait to see them all finished.
