Bugaboo1 totally spoiled me with this swap.  I mentioned a sewn bag with lots of pockets and boy did she deliver.  The bag she made me is so pretty and has lots of pockets.  I am a crocheter and wanted a bag for on the go!  This bag is perfect.  She also spoiled me with chocolate, gum, a lovely candle, a little sign and a pretty crochet hook!!!   I love it all!  Thanks for all your hard work bugaboo1!!!

Hi Everyone,

I have enjoyed seeing what everyone has received so far.  So  many beautiful items and creativity!

I received my swap from Summer6061 last night.  Thank you so much for all your thoughtfulness and creativity.

My partner was able to use the embroidery machine she recently acquired to make a myriad of beautiful items. Here you can see she made me a keychain with a crochet theme, a magnet for my dishwasher and the cutest bookmark.

I also received some soap that smells so nice and a bath bomb that smells great too. I look forward to using them both.

In addition, she created this beautiful shirt for me with her embroidery skills.  I took a few pictures so you could see the close up detail.  She incorporated my love of crocheting into a beautiful creation with my favorite colors and I just love this shirt.  Thanks so much for your kindness and thoughtfulness.

Thank you again for everything Summer6061 and thank you so much to BigBangMomma for organizing this swap!

HI there!   I just returned from an amazing vacation to discover that my package from Summer0601 had arrived.  I am super thrilled with what she sent.   In addition to a very detailed letter of crafts she enjoys and lots of cool details about herself she sent me homemade shower gel and lotion.  Scent is Twilight and it is quite lovely.  She also spoiled me with a bath bomb from Lush!   I can't wait to pamper myself.  She decorated the cutest little bag that she put the lotion and shower gel in with a pink sparkly anchor with flowers (I really love nautical) and finished it off with a Take 5 bar...her favorite. She created a bullet journal nutshell that is quite creative with some very interesting highlights about her.  To top it all off is a little handmade candle that smells like spring!   Thank you Summer from the bottom of my heart!   I look forward to soaking in the tub and using my goodies.

5  Re: Color in a Box 2019 Gallery in The Swap Gallery by Amfkinney on: March 07, 2019 05:21:19 PM
I just got home from work and found a box from LadybugsAndBumblebees waiting for me!  It is so bitter cold here in the state of New York, it can be a bit depressing...so this box was a welcome surprise.  I opened the box to find all the goodies wrapped in my favorite color...PINK!

Wow, have I been spoiled!  Thank you sooooooooooo much.  And...we were both on the same wavelength (which is awesome) and made each other purses and scarves!

First I opened all these little treats that made me smile...pink bubble gum, pinky/purple morning glory seeds, beautiful tape that reads "love is the answer", the cutest little pink pineapple bracelet, the most adorable little pink change purse and tucked inside was this little tiny pink snail that you perch on the cup of tea and wrap your teabag string round it.  I have never seen anything quite like that and I am a tea drinker, so I will enjoy the little guy.

Then I opened a beautifully crocheted lavender and white scarf which is just perfect.

She also included a crocheted cover mason jar with a little light to go in it...LOVE IT!

Last, but not least I opened a crocheted purse made with yarn of a beautiful mix of all my favorite shades.  She chose a nautical theme creating waves in the pattern topped off with a nautical charm attached.  Just perfect!

The attention to detail of all my favotie colors and things is amazing, well thought out, and truly appreciated.  Thank you, thank you, thank you!  The pictures do not do all this goodness justice.  All these beautiful colors bring me the hope of Spring...hopefully soon.

6  Re: Mug Rug and Mug Swap GALLERY! in The Swap Gallery by Amfkinney on: February 22, 2019 05:59:35 PM
Hi there!  I just got home and found a lovely box from Quaggy at my front door.   I sure have been spoiled and I just LOVE everything she created and sent!

She made the cutest mug rug in a bicycle theme with a cute bicycle mug to go with it.  She also made and sent a 2nd rug with a chicken on it!   Thanks so much. I can take one to work and keep one at home.   She also blessed me with the cutest turtle tea bag holder.  It is absolutely adorable.  In addition she sent quite a variety of tea bags and a bag of vanilla coffee which smells heavenly.  I will be brewing some of that tomorrow morning!

As if all those goodies are not enough, she sent me chocolates and pretty tic tacs, a set of pastel gel pens, 2 light up crochet hooks, 2 skeins of beautiful cotton yarn and a crochet a dishcloth a month pattern book. I am spoiled big time by you Quaggy.

I can't thank you enough for your kindness.  I just love everything.  You are an awesome swapper.   Thank you so much

Hi all, I received my swap from bigbangmomma and I love it.  She is a very thoughtful crafter.  She made a coverage for a binder and included a zip pouch that matches the cover of the binder in my favorite color pink.  She included a crochet pattern for me because she knows I love to crochet.  I am excited to keep my patterns in this binder and supplies I need in the zippered pouch.  she also included a beautiful card, colored pens and tags I can use to attached to fiber items I make and give away. Thanks for the great swap!  I hope you enjoy your items when you receive them.

Thanks to thanate and calluna for organizing this swap.

Anne
