1  IMAGE REPRODUCTION TECHNIQUES / Stenciling: Discussion and Questions / Re: I want to stencil my umbrella...BUT HOW? on: May 17, 2007 06:06:57 AM
Tulip makes a nice fabric paint that works well for stenciling, and doesn't require iron set
2  IMAGE REPRODUCTION TECHNIQUES / Stenciling: Discussion and Questions / Re: Freezer Paper on: May 17, 2007 06:00:10 AM
So here are my questions:

1. I'm not concerned with re-using the stencil, but I was wondering if I kept on the freezer paper until the paint was completely dry, like, a whole day, if it would ruin the design or the t-shirt.

2. Does the freezer paper leave any weird residue on the t-shirt?

3. Is anyone else having problems with stencil leakage?  How does the freezer paper work compared to contact paper?

6  CLOTHING / Clothing: Discussion and Questions / Re: Black Dress To Mum's Wedding. An Instant Disown-ment?? on: March 02, 2007 05:48:37 PM
If it's a black tie wedding, I guess it would be okay. But it seems to make a statement you don't really want to make. At least I hope you don't want to make.  as to it being in a Catholic church, I'm sure you won't burst into flames, so what does it matter if you walk inside just to show your respect?  I don't see why you have to go in protest, its disrespectful to your mother, and I hope your dress wont do the same.

8  CRAFTY BUSINESS ADVICE / Crafty Business Discussion / What do I sell Scarves for? on: December 05, 2006 07:50:30 AM
I want to sell some scarves, just to my friends and acquaintances, but I don't know how much to charge.

They are just basic scarves, nothing too fancy technique wise, but I will be taking custom orders.

Any suggestions?
9  QUILTING / Quilting: Completed Projects / Re: !!Adult Content!! I need advice! Pic heavy on: October 12, 2006 03:30:10 PM
Okay, I Know everyone thinks they are fabulous.
And I'm not offended,
I don't think they're vulgar,
but I don't understand why we need to "celebrate" our vaginas by parading them about town in various art forms.

I mean, I guess guys do it.  Hellllooo skyscrapers.  But no one goes "what a beautiful celebration of the penis"

They just think..."creepy."
10  REUSING/RECYCLING/RECRAFTING / What the heck can I do with THIS? / Re: Plastic thingies from milk jugs... on: August 20, 2006 06:42:08 PM
