31  Fun Pillows for my Kitchen and Living Room! in Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: General by girlwonder on: August 21, 2005 06:50:02 PM
I've been on a sewing kick the last couple days...here are a few pillows i made toady...the one with the felt flower "applique" (about 16" x 16") is for my living room sofa and the small ones with the flower print and pink felt and vintage white buttons are reversable and go on my eames inspired kitchen chairs.

hope you like!

This last photo are a few of my favorite items from the package. I also really love the vintage wallpaper and wrapping paper.

It's all so fabulous really!

Thanks for the really great explanations as well.

34  Bench Cushion and Place Settings!! in Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: General by girlwonder on: August 19, 2005 07:26:33 PM
Here are a couple projects i did today...I am SO EXCITED!! I haven't sewn in years and I figured I would make some pretty simple projects...so I made the napkins and the placemats...I also made the cushion for the bench...it was REALLY HARD because I simply hadn't sewn in so long and I had to figure the best way to do it on my own...no pattern...so...it turned out pretty ok for a first attempt sewing project. I hope you all enjoy these...i sure do!

OH! I bought the napkin holders today and Joann 75% off spring sale...they were 2.49 for four of them and they're so perfect!

Just wanted to add this detail...I love the way the gold shines and you just couldn't see it in the other pictures.

40  Portraits in More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works by girlwonder on: July 13, 2005 11:02:28 PM
These are two portraits I did from the model...I'm pretty happy with them...I hadn't painted in a really long time so it felt good to be able to express what I saw in front of me so well. I didn't know I loved to paint so much! Now all I want to do is paint. I have big ideas now...and can't wait to get started on them...

any thoughts?
