2  Messenged Bag with painted-on Mario and Shroom in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by watermonster on: August 27, 2005 10:52:15 AM
I had an old messenger bag, looking a little dirty because of the dull grey, so I decided to draw something on it. Being a secret fan of Mario Brothers 3, I chose to depict him, and a muchroom.

I enlarged the pictures and added a grid to them. Then, I drew the same grid on the bag with a pencil, and transferred it over with acrylic paints. Could've used transfer paper, but this was good enough too. It was a pain, and I went over the edges of the little square a lot.

3  What to do with plastic bottles? - Make a thermos! in What the heck can I do with THIS? by watermonster on: August 27, 2005 10:40:24 AM

(Wait until the picture loads, it's quite big.)

I made one a couple of years ago at my Environment Class, it stood the test of time until it got lost.  Undecided Now I'd like to show you how I made a thermos out of two plastic bottles.

- When I made my thermos, I used a big 7-up bottle, and a bottle of either pepsi, or plain water.
- The more bags you put in between, the better it should work.
