21  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: Beaded knitting on: February 05, 2006 07:29:41 AM
Oh my thats beautiful. I could never have the patience to do something like that. Something that requires you to string that many beads would drive me nuts.

Its a lovely piece

25  CLOTHING / Clothing: Discussion and Questions / bloomers for swimming? on: January 30, 2006 09:27:25 PM
I want to make some bloomers for swimming. But heres a question what material would be suitible for it? Would the usual swim suit material (for the life of me i've forgotten what it's called) be to floppy. I don't really want to try to use cotton or whatnot since it will take to long to dry.

Thanks in advance

Suicidal_crayon - I used acrylic paint mixed with a frabic medium. I applied heat to it after it was dry as the instructions said. You can also used fabric paint. But I've also paint a pair using just plain acrylic paint with no medium mixed in and it turned out fine, the paint is still ok.

29  Calls for Swap Angels / Swap Angel Archive / Organiser Angel - Harajuku Swap on: December 18, 2005 12:53:59 AM
Hey, I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this. But I'm going away after christmas (29th) and wont be around for a month. I'm the organiser for the Harajuku swap and 4 people still have not sent, but have been communicating well with me. I thought the swap would be all finished before I left but unfortunately I was wrong.
The problem is they have missed the shipping date to get it sent out before christmas. So I will be unable to fix there feedback until I come back in february. I don't like the idea of leaving their feedback as in progress until I come back. So I was wondering if someone would be willing to take over the organiser role for me?

30  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / Talk About The Swap Process / Re: Flakers creating new craftster names? on: December 14, 2005 08:54:23 PM
This is only an idea and I know this might sound a bite harsh, but why don't you ban them from the site if they have been caught flaking and creating a new account only to flake again? If people see there will be a punishment for it wouldn't they been less inclide to try it?
I'm not saying ban them if they flake, but only if they create another account and do it again.
