4  NEWS AND DISCUSSION ABOUT CRAFTSTER / Introduce Yourself / Long time lurker here... on: December 13, 2015 12:43:27 PM

So first of all I decided to join this community just today although I have been around for about two years or so.
I just wanted to share with someone that I had my first craft fair(don't really know if you spell it like that) and that it wasn't a complete failure...yay Grin
My friends kinda dragged me there but now that I have experienced the craft fair awesomeness as a seller I want to continue as one. It's kinda addicting. So I joined this community to get some advice on how to market my goods better and how to make things with better quality and of course to get some ideas.
Also I'm very critical of things that I have made so I thought here would be a good place to get constructive criticism.

I'm 26 years old and a single mom of two.
I work as a kindergarten teacher.
I have loved crafting since I can remember. My mom was a crafts teacher at school so she taught me to knit, crochet, sew and so on at a very young age. Crafting has been my way of escaping everyday worries kinda like a way of meditation. Finishing a project gives me this inexplicable(I hope I used that word correctly) happy feeling. I guess you can call crafting my drug Wink

That's all for my little introduction. Now onto lurking mode again... Wink
