11  Craft Swaps / ARCHIVE OF SWAPS THAT ARE TOTALLY FINISHED / Re: Sweat Shoppe Swap 18 (signups until April 13) (Send by May 4) on: April 08, 2009 10:33:18 PM
I've reconsidered and I don't think I'll be doing this swap. I was getting ready to send in my questionnaire but I decided that I don't really have enough time or money to do it. Bummer! Have fun!

ahhh! I love those hats, cabin fever.
I think I'm going to offer wristlets for this round. I can't decide if I'm going to do 5 or 10 items; if I do 10 then I'll make the last 5 be something different. I'm not sure what, but something different  Roll Eyes

Ok people:
Here is the feedback situation
if your name is crossed out, you have feedback.
If you name is not crossed out, the explanation is there. Which ever block is keeping you from getting feedback is listed there. Please check all the groups you are in. I would ask that you either PM that people who is 'missing' a block from you, or check if you have the blocks if you are the person who is hindering feedback.
1boy1girl1kitty2 is missing 2 blocks and can't figure out who they are from, so please look at this picture and see if your block is there. https://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=278288.270 If the block is there, I will mark it as rec'd. Please PM me with this info. Once we figure this out, almost everyone will be able to get feedback.....

OK-- so I know it looks like a lot of work still needs to be done, but I promise it is coming to and end. I am really trying hard to get this done. I know it's annoying to have to wait and wait for feedback. So if you could, please PM me with any information you have and I will get your feedback done ASAP.

People who are getting positive feedback tomorrow:

People who already have positive feedback:

If you are not on these lists, there is a reason! Most of you just have 1 or 2 blocks that aren't accounted for. I've sent out some PMs to track these down. If you think that all of your blocks have been received but you aren't on this list, PM your group leader and let them know that. With one exception, I plan to finish feedback by Sunday so we'd appreciate any help in getting this done. Thanks!
15  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / New Swap Theme Ideas / Re: Ongoing Offer What You Have Swap - March 09 Discussion! on: March 17, 2009 03:39:01 PM
I am looking more to get rid of things than I am to acquire them. I have to move at the end of the year and my whole 2 bedroom apartment has to be condensed to 1 tiny bedroom. Things I am looking to get are mostly finished goods (jewelry, hats, stationery, candles, CP soaps, hair accessories) for myself to actually use or give as gifts.

I have a ton of supplies that I just need to purge, including poppet stuff (I don't have patience for handsewing) and a lot of fabric and trims.

the only reason I am cutting myself off is that I'm moving in a few months. Everything I buy, I think "I"m going to have to get another box" and it's starting to freak me out! I'm going to have to condense a 2 bedroom FULLY furnished apartment in to my old bedroom at my parent's house. Ahhhhhhh. I have as much fabric as furniture  Shocked

I claimed gavagai a little bit ago. I posted my list, but will add more tomorrow if nobody has claimed by the time I'm out of class. Is there anything people are looking for?

and also, I was a little bit confused on the claims thing. I participated last month and claimed something and sent something, but neither have been received yet. Do these claims carry over into the new month or is it separate? I'm sure this is specified somewhere but I couldn't find it  Roll Eyes

I claim gavagai for the crochet necklace with bobbles and 8 stamp booklets (#5, 7, 8, 9, 15, 16, 17, 18). I'll take the free FQ with the blue background/orange flowery things too.

Claims Allowed (Outstanding): 3

Pick One:

Matryoshka zipper pouch. It's 7" long, about 3 inches tall and 1.5 inches across the base. It's lightly interfaced and lined with coordinating dot fabric. It's more sturdy and cute in person than in the picture. It also comes with 2 matching pinback buttons.

6 crocheted sweater ornaments. I made these for a craft show and they just didn't sell. All are acrylic (except the green one, which is cotton) and all are unique. The red one on the end has bobbles across the chest, the green one has a button, and the aqua/red one is 2 strands of yarn so it's kind of bulky. All of them are on a handmade wire hanger. They're about 4" tall.

1.5 yards of pink/cream/glittery houndstooth. I'm not sure about the fiber content, but it's heavy and a little bit of a loose weave. I think it would be very cute for a jumper for a little girl. There are flecks of shimmery thread in the weave. The penny is for size reference.

1 yard (12 frames) of Saint fabric. It's cotton with shimmery accents. Frames are about 11" tall.

pick 2:

Bunny zipper pouch. It's about 4" tall, 1.5" wide and 7" long and fully lined and topstitched. It's also heavily interfaced. It could be good for an Easter present.

Project runway pattern for a tunic top, size 12-20. New.

15 Strathmore blank cards and envelopes. They're creamy colored with light pink on the deckled edges. The paper is pretty heavy and the package says it's good for watercolor and drawing.

Free with any claim: Just tell me in your PM if you want it.

A book about collecting US state quarters and other coins. It was published before all of the designs for the coins were finalized and is outdated in a lot of ways, but has information about each state.

thanks for being such an awesome organizer, lady Smiley
I might sit the next round out, but only because I have fabric overflowing from all corners of my room and it is a real possibility that I might get suffocated by it. I'm going to make some charity quilts and then maybe I'll have room to get new fabric.
have fun!!
