I was at the City Museum just last Saturday, and I am pleased to say that there is a spectacular vintage clothing store on the 4th floor. You have to pay the entry fee to go up, but come on, who wouldn't want to play and shop at the same time?!
2  MORE ART, LESS CRAFT / More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works / Re: Random Photography! [img overload] on: September 29, 2007 09:21:45 PM
I really like the lighting of the cat's face.

I think that the cow sign picture is good, but it might've been a bit more pleasing to the eye if it was off centered a bit. When I am taking photos of things that are vertical, i prefer the camera to be placed vertically rather than horizontally.

the dog one is gorgeous.

the stone detail is excellent!

and the final cat one, adorable!

for being so young, i think you have a great eye for photographic images and you should keep up the photo taking!

Holy cow, Missouri dirt. I live just outside St. Louis, and my dirt is about a 50/50 mix of dirt and chunks of limestone, what fun!

Your peppers and tomatoes are making me crave a spicy spaghetti sauce!

5  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Party Planning / Re: Marie Antoinette/ New Romantics cake party on: April 26, 2007 05:24:52 PM
I know that in French Tradition, a King's Cake has a ceramic figurine baked into it and the person who's piece of cake it is in, is supposed to have good luck, you could put something like that into the cake, and then have a special prize like the Marie Antoinette Soundtrack or a gift certificate to Barnes and Noble.

I hope your party is a hit and lots of fun!

A friend of mine has a purse with the exact fabric.

It reminds me of James Blunt.

Oh wow, all of this stuff is absolutely amazing. It had to take sooo much time and hard work. I don't think I would be able to part with those!
