2  Small Hands Hold My Heart:) in Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General by RESINATIONjewelry on: July 20, 2015 07:48:42 AM

This was so much fun to make!  I used hands and feet stickers and sealed them in resin! I tinted the front so its a darker blue:) The ring says, "For this child, I have prayed." It's another one of those caveats of mine.  I bought the agate from a vendor and now Im on a mission to find another like it as well as those spoons!
thanks for looking!

3  Resin Spoon Collection in Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General by RESINATIONjewelry on: July 10, 2015 03:10:14 PM

I got these last four spoons from my Hobby Lobby and I cant find anymore so if anyone knows where I could find them or something similar I would be eternally grateful!!!!

These were all really fun to make.  The one on the top Left says "DREAM" Upper right is a Koi Fish jumping through a ring that says "Have a Good Luck" bottom right is a cameo with flowers layered and last but not least my favorite, the Bug Spoon I used a Rub on transfer to make it appear like the bug was floating in "the broth" Smiley Thanks for reading!

4  Re: The random RESIN question thread! in Trinkets and Jewelry: Discussion and Questions by RESINATIONjewelry on: July 09, 2015 04:34:14 AM
does anyone know what the best kind of mold would be to make resin oendants, etc? i cannot find any ice cube trays small enought for what i want and no candy molds or anything. Im thinking if making my own molds out of plaster or paris or clay. has anyone tried this?

Hi!  I make cabochons using paint pallettes from Joanne's! You can put them in the freezer once they are completely cured and hardened for a few minutes and they pop right out!   Those are necklaces I make using them, they are flat on the back and because the surface of the pallette is smooth they turn out shiny!

7  "Goosebumps" inspired pendant in Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General by RESINATIONjewelry on: June 21, 2015 06:11:25 PM
Hi this is my first time posting so I hope I did it right! I made this resin pendant inspired by my favorite books growing up!  For this pendant I used many layers with the upcycled pearls to make them appear at different dimensions!  I can tell you that the very small pearls are faux pearls upcycled from a necklace.  The larger charcoal/steel colored ones may possibly be genuine judging by their appearance.  Because they are upcycled I can't make that promise but I can promise you it is made to last with ultra durable resin!
