1  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / fun little sundress on: July 04, 2005 03:47:01 PM
I got this pattern to make sundresses out of old sheets and things...but now I forget the pattern number. If anyone cares, I'll look it up.

Yes, I know I have bad posture. My mom tells me that all the time.
2  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / sweet hipslinger on: July 04, 2005 03:25:40 PM
In classic rocknroar fashion, I too have fallen victim to the ways of the hipslinger.

I didn't take a picture of the linging, but it's this great 70's orange, yellow, and green floral from a Goodwill pillowcase.
3  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Kung Fu Pillow on: July 02, 2005 04:55:52 PM

Sorry for the not-great-quality-photo, but... ok, no excuses. My digital camera sucks.

I had an equally not-great way of making this pattern. Basically, I found a picture of someone doing a kung fu kick and printed it onto matte heavyweight paper. I used an Exact-o knife to cut around the outline, then put it on top of the fabric and traced around it. Do the same thing with each of the letters, poke some holes in the waist, stick a ribbon through to make a belt, and you officially have a GreenJanuary pattern!
