Hot glue gun? It also fixes everything just like duct tape, only less noticeable
12  CROCHET / Crochet: Discussion and Questions / Re: Anyone know how to make the Hello Kitty Granny Square? on: April 22, 2006 05:53:09 AM
That's a good idea (I do it all the time with craft books, and just copy all of the pages that I like), The link above has 53 pages to go through so is that the book you're talking about? I didn't see the square pattern, but there were a lot, if I can only figure out the international part, all of those symbols scare me.

At Walmart you can buy gold rings for .33 - $1. I always buy the .50 ones and decorate them myself. Such as wrapping jute around them.

Good news, eternal_ukyou didn't flake!!! She just pm'd meand she is sending. So now Aphie doesn't need and angel. Ghostgirl and Cantafruit are the only people who need angels. You can send to aphie, but she will be receiving from her partner, so it would be nice if anyone could send to ghostgirl instead.

Everyone has received suce great stuff so far. I should be sending out soon, well as soon as I can get to the postoffice with money at the same time.

Everyone is so nice in this swap. I love it. There are so many people that want to send out their stuff just to be nice without expecting anything in return. I think the people who have been flaked on are covered (maybe not, I'll keep everyone posted).
If anyone wants to send to anyone else (even if they weren't flaked on), just for a fun surprise, just pm me and I'll give you their address. I figured I might as well make it that way since the people who were flaked on are getting so much. So if you want to send to an angel, or just anyone that participated, pm me and I'll get you their address and try to keep it a surprise.

Thanks everyone, this has been a great swap, even though we had a lot of flakers (3).

I am afraid to announce that I beleive we will need angels for 3 more people, hopefully there will be enough after everyone sends to cantafruit. Hopefully not (most likely) the following people have flaked:

and ohso1985

They have not been replying to my many complaints.

They have flaked on:

and aphie

If anyone is interested in being an angel, just pm me and I'll give you someones address, you can also request someone, or I'll randomly choose for you, or you can send to more than one person. I will make sure your profile states that you were an angel for how many people you sent to. Thanks so much everyone.

18  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Discussion and Questions / Re: BAG CHALLENGE :2: SPRING BAG! on: April 19, 2006 03:57:47 PM
Title: Macrame bag
Materials: jute, fabric, metal rings (wrapped in jute), buttons
(The bag is macrame with a reversible lining, I have many colors, but this one is hot pink and blue)

(Sorry about the finger in the corner)
19  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Re: "Stashbucks" coffee cup with free pattern on: April 18, 2006 07:12:00 PM
I must make one of these. The closest Starbucks is 30 min. away (shocking) and it's still taking all of my money. I don't know what I'll do when they build one closer to me. I never seem to have enough money because of coffee, so this will be perfect.

Everyone has received great stuff so far, I am really glad this turned out so good, for most.

Scamber has officially been declared a flaker (not that she wasn't when we got angels), everything turned out ok, Cantafruit will get more than everyone put together, haha, and lucky you.

The following people need to contact me with a DC# as soon as possible.
hookin flamingo

Everyone else should have positive feedback in their profile. Thanks to everyone who participated in this swap, I don't think anyone was disatisfied with everything they sent and received. I'm glad I got the chance to organize this; it really was a great swap!
