1  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / It's all vine around here on: June 20, 2006 03:00:02 PM
I was going to make a scarf out of the vine but decided I wanted to make something cute I could add to just a pair of jeans and a tshirt during the summer months.  The vine goes around my middle finger and around.  I inserted a metal wire into the vine so it stays for the most part in place.

2  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Finally finished...Bee Scarf on: June 17, 2006 08:16:30 PM
Grant you I won't be using it for at least a good three months but it is nice to see that it is done and I can start on something new.  It mainly took a long time because I wanted the length to be really long plus I had to figure out how to make the slit so I could pull the scarf through itself. Smiley  I found the little bees and I attached them to pins.  I can move them around or take them off if I want to.

3  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / From plain to paris on: May 10, 2006 07:19:00 PM
I found a really cheap sweatshirt at the gap (6 dollars). I bought it and decided to revamp it.  After a little work this is what I ended up with.

4  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / It's scarf, It's a hat...no it's a Harf (Lame I know)*now w/ back of head pic* on: February 24, 2006 03:01:36 PM
So I realize that winter is coming to an end but I just had to make this.  It is well over 6 feet long so it is perfect for wrapping.  BTW I hate that picture of me.  I would like to thank my husband for the back shot of my head...for without him it would not exist. Smiley

5  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Yet another Button Bracelet... on: February 22, 2006 07:51:10 PM
It was simple to make obviously but it actually took time deciding on which buttons to use.  I think it looks kind of old fashion because the buttons I used are pretty dark in color.  Let me know what you think.

6  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Tic Tac Toe ... Anyone? on: February 11, 2006 11:43:17 PM
I loved playing this game when I was younger and even now I still love it but I didn't always have a pen or paper handy but that isn't a problem anymore...now that I have my knitted tic tac toe board and pieces. Smiley  It could also be a great placemat to distract kids while food is being cooked / served.  I believe that it is a little over a foot in each direction.

7  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Starry Night Bag on: February 03, 2006 04:54:38 PM
I created this little bag.  I think it would probably be good to use if I am running out to the store or something of that nature where I don't need to carry tons with me.  I love the lining though.  I hand sewed a zip into it also so it is pretty secure.

8  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Sequined wrist warmers on: January 29, 2006 08:19:12 PM
I decided to keep with a plainer color but to add sequins to them to make them sparkle when light hits them.  I think next time I will make a more colorful pair light green or blue for cool spring days.

Sorry about the photos they aren't the best but they are the same pair in the two pictures.
9  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Rainbow Pouch on: January 11, 2006 07:40:48 AM
I decided I had to make something that I could use to put just a couple of things of makeup in so they didn't get lost in the empty pit that is my purse.  In the end the pouch could really be used for just about anything.  It fits my Ipod nano and headphones or just credit cards and some money.  To make it a little bit more colorful I had a pin that I made to hold it together.

10  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / My First Scarf (3 images) on: January 09, 2006 01:42:47 PM
This is the first project I have ever knitted and I am so happy with it.  My sister said that she wants me to make her this exact one so off I go to make this scarf again.  Grin
