That is very cute...how long did you make the straps?  What is Rowan?  ~Tricia

Rowan is an awesome knit company. I dream about their yarns and they have great patterns too....www.knitrowan.com
3  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / Re: 200g (approx 200 yds) - enough for a scarf? on: July 26, 2006 09:41:19 PM
It might be enough for a skinny scarf, but not for a more "normal" scarf like you want to knit. I am actually in the middle of the short row rib scarf from magknits in sari silk, I got a ways with 200 grams but one skein was not long enough.
4  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / what to do with this?? on: July 09, 2006 06:16:18 PM
Alright. A good friend of mine's mother was getting rid of some yarn from her stash, and gave it to me. Yay!

However, among some of the better yarn, I got seven skeins of polyester yarn.

Yup. 420 yards of black 100% polyester yarn.

Any ideas?

you could try bleaching them entirely and redying them again with rit dye. I've never tried that myself, but it seems like that could work.
