1  CANADA / Alberta / Summer Craft Shows on: June 13, 2006 07:54:30 PM
Does anyone know of any craft markets held in the summer in Edmonton or surrounding area.  I know you can sell at the Folk Fest or the Fringe but they are quite pricey.  I am just looking for a small one day market kind of thing (not farmers market).
2  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Discussion and Questions / Canadian Source for Ball Chain on: May 25, 2006 12:46:01 PM
Other than the local hardware store, does anyone have a source in Canada
for ball chain in bulk or by spool and with connectors.

Thanks
Wendy
3  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Scrap Yarn Hat on: January 22, 2006 08:27:56 PM
Since I have gotten tired of knitting scarves and wraps I decided to try hats.  This is my first one I made
out of layers of scrap yarn.  Its a little big will have to try it with smaller needles next time.   Let me know what you think.

5  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Another Scarf on: July 14, 2005 09:28:23 PM
Omgosh I am obsessed with knitting lately.  Here is another scarf inspired by Ettie Knits this one is using colors that are hot this fall.  Got another good deal on yarn - factory outlet bag of yarn at Walmart 7 balls for only 9.99  Making these scarves are so much fun and the great thing is you can whip one up in an evening.

6  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Rockstar Scarf on: July 14, 2005 08:02:38 PM
Another scarf I made this one was inspired by Ettie Knitted once around scarf.  I think it turned out pretty good.  What a great way to use of scraps of yarn left over from other projects.  Scarf is 92" long with a 6" fringe.
I was knitting it while watching Rockstar Inxs so thought it was a good name for the scarf.

Let me know what you think

7  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Bo Ho Scarf (first picture post) on: July 13, 2005 06:27:15 PM
Got some cheap yarn at the Goodwill Store - 5 balls for just $7.99 what a deal.  Thought the color was awsome.
looked very bohemiem so I decided to hand sew sequins to it as well.  Is 72" long with 8" fringe and 12" wide
can be used as a scarf or a wrap.  I think I will call it....Bohemiem Wrapsody!   Grin

8  CANADA / British Columbia / Funky (punk/vintage) Stores in Vancouver? on: July 13, 2005 08:13:19 AM
Going to Vancouver for holidays this year and was wondering if any one know of any good
Punk/Vintage type stores in downtown Vancouver and any stores that carry Indie Band T-shirts.
Also stores that carry Paul Frank or Emily Strange merch.

Thanks for you help.
