1  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Re: Bucketloads of T-shirt Reconstructions! on: January 15, 2010 08:49:44 PM
They are exactly the kind of shirts I am looking for but fail to find, every single time.

Same here.

I absolutely love love love the moon one! I haven't logging on Craftster in months, but Stumbled this today and had to reset my forgotten password just to tell you how much I love it. And its pocket. And the fact that you mentioned you might draw up a picture. Smiley (No pressure!)
2  NEWS AND DISCUSSION ABOUT CRAFTSTER / Craftster Itself / Re: Crazy Unstoppable Pop-up windows on: April 20, 2009 09:54:59 PM
This happened to me not to long ago. Not on Craftster, but another website. I normally use Firefox but used IE this particular time. I accidentally clicked a car ad and was bombarded with 63 pop ups (yes, I counted as I tried to close them). Had to restart to get rid of the problem. This was back when my IE was really buggy though, so I did virus and malware scans and got rid of some problems. I haven't had it happen since, but I don't really use IE that often.
3  NEWS AND DISCUSSION ABOUT CRAFTSTER / Craftster Itself / Re: Google ads moved to new annoying location on: April 20, 2009 09:47:37 PM
It's totally everyone's right to use ad blockers but just keep in mind that if you to this you're preventing us from making a certain amount of money that we need to run this site. Sad And you're missing out on some great crafty advertisers. Smiley

Forgive my naivety, but how does Craftster not make money when users have an ad blocker? Is it because they can't see them and can't click them, as the clicking is what makes money? I'll turn off my ad blocker for Craftster and go on an ad-clicking spree when I visit if it'll help Smiley I got ad blocker for other websites that had horrible, flashing, drop-down, pop-up, noise-making ads; the ones on Craftster never bothered me in the past.
4  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Re: FINALLY! Super Mario Obsession on: April 20, 2009 09:08:16 PM
I'm so freaking excited to have it "done" that I'm going to be unveiling it.........NOW!

I initially read that sentence as "I'm going to be unraveling it........NOW!" and was about to send you some serious what-the-hell-is-wrong-with-you mail! I see now, so it's all good.

I cannot even begin to describe how amazed I am by this! This is incredible!
5  MORE ART, LESS CRAFT / More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works / Re: Watercolor Stencil Portrait + TUTORIAL on: April 15, 2009 12:21:01 AM
I didn't do a very good job. And I switched to a painting I had already started to save time. Sorry if that's confusing!

Haha, I began to question your tutorial when I came to this picture.
This is very neat, I'll have to try this once I'm finished exams. Thanks for the tutorial! Very well written Smiley
(What on earth is masking fluid, by the way? Does it have other uses?)

macrame is a very passionate subject, its understandable people have strong feelings, we're just hoping that we can help show people the endless and wonderful possibilities of macrame! We are the macra-wave of the future!

I love the undying dedication from all the mods behind the change Cheesy

I'm pretty sure my Grandmother has a variation of this orange carpet. And at least 5 of those pot hangers. Really hoping she doesn't have the bikini as well.

I'm enjoying trying to figure out which mod is which  Cheesy I've got a few figured out, but others I can't remember what the macrame part of their name used to be.

And on a completely serious note, I'm going to try my hand at macrame in May. I'll see if my mom has any tips for me  Smiley
