1  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / New Swap Theme Ideas / yearbook/scrapbooking swap on: May 20, 2008 11:14:56 PM
so with yearbook signings coming up, i was wondering if anybody wanted to swap any old scrap booking supplies they have. im sure all of you have those few pages of scrap booking paper you have NO IDEA what to do with, but cant dare throw away, or those one or two extra embellishments/stickers that you bought because they were on sale but never used... come on, you know you all do it  Wink
therefor i propose a swap where we can get rid of all these things and get new stuff! it'll be an easy swap that doesnt require any major crafting or time and best of all, you can get rid of stuff you already have!
so... is anybody in?  Smiley
2  IMAGE REPRODUCTION TECHNIQUES / Screen Printing: Discussion and Questions / i can't reclaim my screen! on: October 25, 2007 06:55:15 PM
i burned my screen yesterday, but when i washed it out, the emulsion didnt turn out right, so i tried to reclaim it... but its not coming off!! a majority of it has already washed right out of the screen when i put on the chemical remover, but there are certain areas where it isnt coming off at all! it might have been because i used old emulsion (10 months old =X). im freaking out because i this is my nicest screen! can anyone please help me? ive used bleach and the chemical remover already. Sad

5  IMAGE REPRODUCTION TECHNIQUES / Screen Printing: Completed Projects / first attempt at silk screening on: February 12, 2007 05:53:38 PM
here is my first attempt! i made shirts for my club, aowakya. the shirts say "i <3 akasa arai" which is our brother club, and the paw print is out logo. i dont have a picture of the shirts only, but this is a group pic of some of the girls in the club:
i couldnt wash out all of the letters though, so we just passed it off as a "vintage wash"  Roll Eyes
6  IMAGE REPRODUCTION TECHNIQUES / Screen Printing: Discussion and Questions / exposure time with sun on: February 07, 2007 06:30:06 PM
i've searched for this, but i can't seem to find the answer...
i'm making my first shirts ( Smiley) and i was wondering since im using the sun, its not as dependable as a light, so how do i know if my screen is done? i dont want to overexpose it, but i dont want to underexpose it too! is there  a test or is there something i should be looking for?
thanks a bunchhhh
7  REUSING/RECYCLING/RECRAFTING / What the heck can I do with THIS? / livestrong bracelets on: November 12, 2006 03:08:20 PM
i have a bunch or livestrong type bracelets. i dont really want to trash them, but i dont wear them either. any ideas? i was thinking about using them to tie stuff together, but that seems kind of hard. i wish i could melt all of them and make them into those silicone baking sheets  Wink

10  Halloween / Halloween Costumes / pair halloween costumes for YMCA clubs on: October 13, 2006 11:49:52 PM
for a club, we need to dress up for our halloween party. we have a brother club that we have to dress up with, so we need something easy to make (we cant buy it), comes in pairs (for our brother club), has a lot of variety (there are going to be 30 pairs of people), and something clean (this is for the ymca!). i know this is a lottttt to ask for, but please help me! before, we were noahs arc, waldo & walda (wheres waldo books), and sea creatures. so i guess we dont need something that comes in pairs, but we need a general catagory...? im not sure how to explain it. thank you so so so much, even if you dont have ideas, it still helps to know that you read this!
