Thanks everyone! I'll be posting more soon as I'm finished. Have a show on Saturday and a new costume to craft before then!

Love this! That bow is amazing. Do you have video of you performing the routine?
6  CLOTHING / Costumes: Completed Projects / Recent Burlesque Costumes - slightly NSFW on: May 03, 2010 12:08:07 PM
Hello! It has been waaay too long since I last posted here. I used to make lots of recons but recently I've been focusing on my burlesque costumes, so I thought I'd share my latest creations. Nothing spectacular, but fun and I need to keep upping my ante. I love seeing costumes and how creative this community is.

Recon bra and panties from a silver bikini that was waay not going to fit over my hips. Smiley For my mad scientist routine.

Front view, sequined bra and hip skirt/garter belt. Don't have a good picture of the back, but the white sparkly trim makes two bum-hugging lines.

Next project is creating a tear-away dress. I will do my best to document all my successes/failures along the way!

Thank for looking!

This is the best thing I've seen all day. Great scarf choice too. Smiley

Soo cute. I had those bedsheets as a kid. ::calling mom to see if she still has them::
