1  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: Koala Bear on: May 21, 2008 03:25:53 PM
This little guy/gal is so cute.  You think we can order one for Finn for christmas.  hehe.  I think he would like it. and that way you would have to work on it until after you get all your stuff done for the window display.
I think it is totally cute.
2  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: Finn's baby booties on: May 15, 2008 11:31:40 PM
Hi!  I love the booties!!!!  They are so cute!  i can't wait to dress him up in his booties and sweater.  And now that I think about it Finn is just as appropriate a spelling as Fynn for Fynnaghan....You will have to excuse the hormonal bug up my butt.  Either way, he will look really cute in them.  And if i'm going to chase foot coverings around this fall they might as well be cute.  I'm in the mindset of summer baby, it will be warm when he is born, don't have to worry about socks and stuff.....Don't seem to remember that fall comes after summer right now.
Love the boots.
Thanks Mom,
3  QUILTING / Quilting: Discussion and Questions / Re: Anybody know anything about copyrighting a quilt? on: April 30, 2008 10:06:57 PM
This is totally an empty threat.  But look at it this way, if she she has done this to you, she could do this to someone who doesn't have the knowledge/backup that you do and totally scare them away from quilting or whatever.  I would put my post back up, at least that way she doesn't think she won this one and bully other people.
4  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / The Swap Gallery / Re: Hand Embroidered Patch Swap Gallery - Send before Nov-27 on: November 29, 2007 05:56:22 PM
I got 2 patches in the mail in the last 2 days.  The first is a pretty unicorn i'm not sure who from and the second is an awsome barrel of Monkeys from riario.  They are so cute.
So now here are 2 of my patches that i have sent.  I have a third finished waiting for it's close up and one almost done.  I have got to learn not to do these things right at the hollidays.  However it is really fun and relaxing to embroider all of these.

This is the first patch that I finished and is in the mail.

And here is the second that I have finished.

I have one patch all embroidered and I have 4 more to go but it will go quick and I have a lot of family time coming up over thanksgiving which means lots of sitting around talking so I will just have all of my stuff ready to go with me and I will work on a lot of stuff.
I will post the pic of the first one soon.  In the meantime here is a picture of Puppies my dog had last night.

Momma and babies are fine.  There are 6 boys and 2 girls so if anyone wants a puppy.....
6  CLOTHING / Clothing for Curvaceous Craftsters: Discussion and Questions / Re: Altering Scrubs? on: November 12, 2007 12:51:07 PM
I make all of my own scrubs for work.  I would find a fabric that matches the color.  Then after make the scrubs you can scotch guard the fabric.  That is what I do, and I can have scrubs of any material I want.

I got my package in the mail today from Piratecore.  I am amazed that she got so much done before going on a honeymoon.  And with 2 partners no less.  I remeber when I was getting ready for my honeymoon, I was so excited I couldn't do anything.....Ah, Memories.
Anyway, I will be posting pictures later tonight. I just wanted to let everyone know that I have received.

I try to do most of my swap stuff out of my stash, then I go shopping and see stuff I like and well it just gets built back into my stash.  I have so much stuff, I could go for years, i'm sure.
I love the fantasy fabric, I think I have some of that...I think I was going to make placemats or something with it....Now I need to go dig it up.

Hmmm....Off to go dig..
