I have some cute nieces. I love my nieces to pieces Smiley

Youll have to share a photo of Beast Jr in her Halloween costume with Jiji in a few weeks Cheesy
2  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / Red Fox on: October 19, 2018 02:57:46 AM
I was at the thrift store last weekend when I found three skeins of some lovely red tweed yarn. I decided to buy them, and thought for a few days about what I wanted to make with it. When I remembered that I had some grey and oatmeal tweed colors on hand, I decided I needed to make a fox, so I did!

I absolutely love how he turned out. And this only used one skein of the red, so I can make two more so he has some friends. My sister, QueenHobo, already wants to claim him. She has declared his name is Rupert. Should I be a nice big sister and send it to her, or be a mean big sister and have her make do with a photo? Mwahahaha Smiley

The recipient is in her early 20s apparently. And she loves unicorns.

Project Name: Red fox
Project Link: https://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=456257.0
Brief Description: this fox is made with red tweed yarn. I found it at the thrift store and just had to get it. I found three skeins, but it took only one to make this, so maybe I'll make two more! I had the grey and oatmeal colored tweeds at home already, and I think all three colors go together nicely!

I totally forgot to say that I crocheted around some wood slats for the wings! It makes the toy a little heavier, but not by much.

Thanks!! Bookmarking it to make for my daughter when I get a minute of free time! (or many minutes - I haven't checked on how complex it may be . . . )

It took me just over 30 minutes to make the angel pictured using worsted weight yarn. I made a second one with lace weight yarn, and that took me longer as it was harder to see the tiny stitches, but not too much longer. Its a pretty fast project.

Thank you!

Id love to get a tattoo, but I have no pain threshold. I dont think I could stand the pain and constant noise of the needles. Which is a huge bummer, because I even have one tattoo already planned out with ideas for a second. Lol Smiley
