11  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / flirty pillowcase top on: July 27, 2005 06:33:00 AM
i bought this pillowcase at a thirft store for $.10. All i did was take the stitching out of the top and double it up so it wasn't see through. then i just took it in, in a few areas where it didn't fit very well and added some elastic to the back. its a little wonky but i can perfect it next time and i like it.

suggestions and constructive criticism are always helpful and welcome.

this is a skirt a made a about a month ago, well actually i cut it out and my friend ashley did the sewing because my machine was out of order at the time. i used another skirt that i had for the template.

14  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / My draft version of the hipster sling/fanny pack on: July 15, 2005 10:09:56 AM

sorry i don't have any pictures of me modeling it.

this is a very rough version (notice that the lining is starting to come off). but i was excited to try and make one. i pretty much just improvised it. i'm satisfied with the way that it came out, but its a little on the large side. these bags are so convient to carry!
15  IMAGE REPRODUCTION TECHNIQUES / Stenciling: Completed Projects / my stenciled bike patch on: July 08, 2005 06:41:43 AM
to make the stencil i used some bike clip-art that i found online. i took some artistic liberties when cutting it out with an exacto knife. i taped it down and used craft paint. after it dried i added some black tule and ribbon, then attached it to my bag.

thats it.

sorry for the semi-blurry photo, i'm secretly using my boss's camera at work.
